This restaurant is just ok. The place is super loud, the drinks were absolutely awful, the so called'martini' tasted like juice & the mixed drinks were terribly made. The best thing I ate was actually the baguette. The salad lettuce was cut into huge pieces, the calamari & the sauce it came with were quite bland. Our main courses were mostly good (pizza, several pastas, chicken), the salmon dish was a bit bland, the chicken with cream sauce & cranberry came with pasta with tomato sauce which was an odd combination. Desserts were pretty good also. The service was great & I appreciated that they packed our leftovers for us unlike many restaurants that just give you a box.

Absolument délicieux!! Des entrées polpette aux calmars ou salade César, tout était excellent. Table d'hôte/poulet/carré d'agneaux/steak… & les portions sont extrêmement généreuses!! Que dire de notre serveuse très attentionnée & rapide, shout out at Emily!!! De nos jours avoir du aussi bon service se fait rare, faut prendre le temps de les encourager & remercier!! Hâte d'y retourne

Scarolies is a well-liked Italian restaurant known for generous portions, one of the. Est in point Clair , hearty pasta dishes, & classic comfort food - perfect for families, groups, or a relaxed dinner. Edit: The owner swiftly took care of every single issue. I found it odd that a restaurant that uses top quality ingredients would have certain deficiencies. If I were to choose a restaurant that guarantees satisfaction, this would be my TOP choice. The owner (Alex) stands by his reputation. If you, as a customer have a problem with the food or service, simply tell the waitress or waiter if they forget to ask.

Our table all had very beautiful presentations, & most people had enough leftovers for a second supper. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Surprisingly, I had some issues that shouldn't have been ignored. The minestrone soup was very bland, & the zucchini entrée was not evenly sliced leaving some pieces undercooked. My Italian salad had the lettuce I love, sadly I didn't order dressing on the side. It was soaked a bit too much. The worst part was the shaved carrots were MUSTY & my mostly untouched salad was cleared by the waitress without even asking why I gave up on it so soon. My shrimp pasta was another disappointment. It tasted fine, but there was so much rich heavy creamy sauce it was sickening after half the plate. I did note that other tables were eating up their mooshy pasta plates quite happily.
The high points are the incredible croutons & above average tasting water (maybe its filtered) If it wasnt for the musty carrots I may have actually enjoyed this place a bit more.

Black cod was good with excellent shrimps, pasta with sea food, steak brevette quite good in yummy sauce & asparagus. Meatballs were good, with salads etc... service was excellent & sitting out in a beautiful summer night what could be worse.

I've been here twice now, & both times I left extremely happy. The service is amazing! Even when the place is packed, the staff is fast, attentive, & super friendly. We didn't have to wait long for a table either. They even brought me a complimentary Caesar salad (a generous portion!) even though it wasn't included with my meal. You start off with a whole baguette for the table, served with olive oil & balsamic vinegar for dipping, which is such a nice touch! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, & there's such a great selection!! Warm & cozy ambiance too! Can't wait to go back!

Great Italian restaurant near Pierrefords.

Went on a Friday night around 6pm. Had two people with no reservation. Places was very busy, but the front of the house is rum so efficiently & the wait was only like 15 minutes. To sit down. Service was friendly & helpful.

Had a could drinks to start, Daquari & a Negroni, both were decent size & tasted good.

The waiter brought us a warm bread with some oil & balsamic on side to dip into.

The Ceasar Salad was excellent, the dressing was flavorful & creamy.
For mains we had a Roasted Rack of Lamb, & the linguini pasta in cream sauce with shrimp & mushrooms (Linguini con Gamberetti alla Brandy Rosa)

We were stuffed, but couldn't pass up dessert to go for later. A strawberry cake, & tiramisu.

Overall the food was done well & tasty. The service was great. Atmosphere was nice & lively. Would be great to bring large groups, saw a lot of larger tables of 6 or more there (obviously with reservations).

Would recommend & will be one of our go to options when in the area in future trips.

Thank you for Jordan's service. Give that guy a raise! I had the garlic scampi with Caesar salad. Yum yum. My sister always gets the lobster ravioli, her favorite.

From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality & Peter's exceptional service made for an outstanding experience.

We enjoyed pasta, pizza, salad, & a bottle of Pinot Noir, expertly recommended by our server. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. A standout touch was their automatic plating of shared dishes, a rare & thoughtful service detail.

To top it off, the server-recommended carrot cheesecake was incredible. Scarolies excels in food, service, & wine-highly recommended!

Update: What happened to their website, goes to some pointless link, that's enough for me not to go there.

I would definitely give it five stars for the food & the service, I don't recall ever having a bad meal there, the pasta is delicious the veal scallopini is a tender as butter, & the Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had

The food was amazing! Gnocchi with the gorgonzola sauce, rack of lamb & seafood linguini. Plates were on the table d'hôte which came with either a soup or salad as an appetizer. For dessert, we had some cakes & coffee. Great service by Jimmy. We will be back! One star off because the washrooms were a bit in need of a clean (floors were sticky & one of the stalls was out of TP).

Best Restaurant in area. Service staff from hostess, server, helpers & manager were incredible. We had a beautiful four course lunch including appetizers, soups & salads, lunch entrees & dessert! The cocktails & martinis were delicious & they had a fantastic selection of wine.

Scarolies Pasta Emporium is a west island staple. It's been around for many years & whilst their menu could use an update, their food is classic & tasty. You can find a wide variety of Italian food ranging from, pastas, pizza, salads & a few others. The portions are healthy & have a home style to their dishes. I recommend to stick with a pasta dish rather than pizza, it's what they do, & they do it well. Definitely worth trying, I love the warm baguette dipped in the olive oil & balsamic vinegar! Lovely touch!

They bring some baguette to start. Was hoping it would be great starter bread, but it was tasteless. I got a chicken Caesar salad. The portion was huge, but it didn't have bacon. I don't understand how they can make a Caesar salad & not have bacon. My girlfriend has a seafood salad. Again, huge portion. Was filled with calamari, smoked salmon & some shrimp stuff. Really tasty I'd still go back to try something else though.

For lunch, we had a chicken Cesar salad & seafood salad. The cesar salad was missing bacon, & the chicken was unfortunately dry. There was a bit too much sauce, although it was very tasty with freshly grated parmesan on top. The seafood salad had a good portion of calamari, smoked salmon & shrimp. The calamari was perfectly cooked not rubbery at all but there was no additional sauce to dip it in. The salad was perfectly dressed with a light but delicious vinegarette. Both salads were enormous & we weren't able to eat more then half. They also bring a fresh baguette with oil & balsamic vinegar but the bread although very fresh, tasted plain & somewhat flavorless. The interior is VERY old but you can also day it adds to the charm. Service was super friendly & helpful. The price was good for the portions we got but it's not necessary to have such enormous portions for lunch.

Incroyable!! Qualité/prix c'est imbattable! Accueil chaleureux, serveur très gentil , nourriture excellente! Nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes pour midi nous avons tous été étonné par les portions gigantesques. ( Lasagne , poulet parmigiana, veau marsala, salade de poulet ) Tout était très bon & pas cher! Une baguette chaude avec beurre ou huile d'olive & balsamique offerte gratuitement!!! WOW !!! Parmesan vous en voulez une montagne ... pas de problème ;) Wow Une très belle expérience! Bravo a toute l'équipe & au proprio pour sa générosité incroyable!

Had a fantastic meal with our cousins at Scarolies Pasta Emporium. We all had different dishes for dinner, & each one was excellent. Mine was the Lasagna, & it was very filling. I had a Cesear Salad with it, & it was perfectly prepared with just enough dressing & barely a drop left over on the plate. Lasagna was piping hot with lots of beef & cheese. The same high quality was experienced by my dinner table, with Veal Marsala & Veal Port with pears & leeks. They both loved their dishes. & finally the Rosé pasta was also perfectly prepared. We never felt rushed & enjoyed our sitting outside, even with a little rain, it was all enjoyable. Thanks to the staff & cooks - it was all fantastic!
