We've been dining at this restaurant for over 20 years, & what has always stood out is the consistent quality delicious food, great variety, & wonderful service every single time. We've truly never had a bad experience. But today, we had an exceptional one.
Adriana was our server, & her attentiveness elevated the entire experience . She never left us unattended, anticipating our needs with warmth & professionalism. It's rare to encounter someone so genuinely committed to creating an outstanding guest experience.
Adriana not only met the bar she raised it!
It's not just about good food. It's about sharing a meal with people you care about while being served by those like Adriana who care deeply about what they do.

We heard about this restaurant from some of our coworkers from Montreal. Being from Halifax we do have a share of Italian restaurants but this was next level.
Our staff member was Kaila. She was absolutely amazing. Our whole family remarked how efficient, friendly, caring & timely she was. The restaurant was very busy while we were there & that usually means the staff doesn't have the time to attend the tables as often. Not the case here. Kaila was there for us the whole time within minutes to check how we were doing.
So that's the service, let's talk about food. Huge portions or fresh cooked apps & meals. You could tell the chefs & cooks take pride in the quality of food & presentation. I hadn't been to Scarolies for a long time. I decided to go have supper after my hockey game. I order veal scallopini with pasta on the side. I asked if the tomato sauce could be substituted to bolognese & the waitress said sure no problem. Everything was delicious! The veal sauce was so good, the veal so tender. The bolognese sauce was beyond delicious. I bought a litre of it & brought it home. My wife said, when you're on the West Island Sunday get some more!!! It's so delicious! We're Italian so we know good sauce. Service was great, prices are extremely good for the quality & quantity of dishes. This is now my go to place when I'm craving Italian food. Highly recommend it. Also the terrasse is so beautiful & romantic. It reminded me of Gianni's in Aruba.Voir plus

We've been coming here to Scarolies for decades. We've never experienced any meals or service that was not 100% quality! Bring your appetite as portions are large. Living an hour away, the trip is well worth it. We were recently there & Steve, our server for our special get together & all the servers were very prompt & professional as expected! Our food was piping hot & timed with our apps & entrees perfectly. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to snap some photos of our orders! The staff greeted us promptly & made sure we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Their politeness & attentiveness added to the overall positive experience. Had a fantastic meal with our cousins at Scarolies Pasta Emporium. We all had different dishes for dinner, & each one was excellent. Mine was the Lasagna, & it was very filling. I had a Cesear Salad with it, & it was perfectly prepared with just enough dressing & barely a drop left over on the plate. Lasagna was piping hot with lots of beef & cheese. The same high quality was experienced by my dinner table, with Veal Marsala & Veal Port with pears & leeks. They both loved their dishes. & finally the Rosé pasta was also perfectly prepared. We never felt rushed & enjoyed our sitting outside, even with a little rain, it was all enjoyable. Thanks to the staff & cooks - it was all fantastic!Voir plus

The food is very good.The pasta dishes in general are excellent.If you don't have time to cook a meat sauce,I would recommend ordering a litre of meat sauce to go for fourteen dollars.The sauce is heated & they throw in a warm crusty bread for free.Much appreciated!!The ladies when you come in give five star service.Plenty of parking.my opinion go for it,good quality, great prices.Voir plus

This place has now become a go to place for my family & I when we get together. The food is phenomenal & the staff is amazing. I usually go for the 18oz t-bone however the pasta is just as good. I wish I took quality photos as I typically do but I guess I will next time i come by! Huge shout out to Jimmy, Joe, & Elisa who made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. great quality food at an affordable price. also good takeout. I ordered the lasagna casalinga & it was very good. it came in an inviting display, composed of soft pasta with tasty stretchy cheese covered with appetizing sauce. it wasnt expensive & it came in a big portion.Voir plus
