this place is a complete waste of your time and money theres hundreds of reviews saying the same thing, listen to them and do not go, if youre woman this Is not a safe place for you, and the bartenders are trashy and classless they need to do better, they are also thieves which the boss knows about and allows them to get away with. theres so many other reviews saying that when they did not tip they refused to give them a paid drink. horrible and trashy.

I've been going to the one downtown for over 25 years and let me tell you, the started cheaping out on the home made hot sauce, used to be very good and they changed it a few months ago, to the point where it is completely tasteless and just hot without any taste, just burning hot, it's orange watered down liquid and looks like Franks hot sauce you would buy at the super market. Bring back the other sauce and stop being cheap with your customers.

The good: Service is very warm and welcoming. Food came out relatively quick and their fries are insanely good. They use real potatoes and they are cooked to perfection. The Bad and Ugly: I know my steaks. I have been to very high end steakhouses and while not all of them delivered, I have pretty good grasp on what to expect. Marmo uses dry aged steaks but the ones we had were terrible. I'm choosing my words carefuly: They were terrible. Overcooked and didn't taste much. This is also the only steakhouse that I experienced that doesn't give you steak knives. The price was definately not worth the experience. I usually give restaurants a second chance in case they had a bad day but not in this case. There is no coming back from such a bad experience. My advice to the staff, listen to the feedback of your customers instead of being combative. We want you to thrive in the neighborhood but not at the expense of our experience and our hard earned cash. To the waiters, keep doing what you are doing. You guys rock.

You're really paying for the atmosphere, not the food. The vibe is beautiful, but the food was very basic and not well presented compared to the setting. There are definitely better Japanese and sushi spots out there. The staff were super nice though probably the highlight of the experience.

Was looking for BYOB and found this place, so we decided to have my husband's birthday dinner here. During the reservation process, the staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated and is on the smaller side but very quaint and cozy. The food was delicious and there are many options at pretty reasonable prices! And the carrot cake... OMG!!! The food was delicious and the staff was great. The service was pretty slow, most likely because their staff is new and it was busy. Waited around 45+mins for our final plate, so we decided to order dessert. Final plate never came but the dessert came pretty quick. Dessert options are pretty good.

I visited Matcha 2nd Gen Café on March 1st with friends, on one of those freezing winter days where you just want something warm and comforting. The service stood out right away. The staff were genuinely kind, and I was served by the owner, Sarah, who took the time to answer my questions and guide me through the menu based on what I felt like having. It made the whole experience feel more personal. We tried a few drinks: • Matcha 2nd Gen with coconut milk • Iced matcha with ube topping • Iced salted tiramisu matcha The ube was my favorite flavor, but I'd recommend asking for a lighter amount of topping if you prefer something less sweet and more matcha-forward. One thing I really appreciated is that the matcha actually tastes like matcha. It's not overly milky or sugary, which makes this a great spot for people who enjoy a more authentic flavor. We also had the cinnamon brioche, which was soft, well-balanced, and not too sweet. I'm usually not a big cinnamon roll person, but this one was definitely worth trying. The space is simple but thoughtful, with small details like board games available and a cozy playlist (early 2000s R&B when we visited) that adds to the overall atmosphere. The café is still relatively new, opened about 6 months ago, and you can feel the care behind it. They also offer seasonal drinks, so the menu changes regularly. Overall, a cozy and well-executed spot for quality matcha and a relaxed visit. I'd definitely come back.

We discovered this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat downtown and decided to give it a try. The food was really fresh and savory. It had a futuristic atmosphere with robots and little trains serving you the food. The service was really good, our bbq wasn't working and they were extremely attentive and changed us tables, and even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Would definitely come back with friends!

I had the most wonderful experience at Taiyo Sushi 💖✨ From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was Lina. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring-she made us feel so comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire meal 🫶 The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like it was made with love, and you can really tell they put heart into everything they do ❤? Lina went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, and her sweet energy made the night even more special. It's rare to come across service that feels this genuine and thoughtful 💫 I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and a lovely atmosphere. Went there based on the hype. Brought my sons and mother. Terrible stringy smoked meat. Full of fat. I related my opinion with the waitress. Showed her the strings. No response. 127 bucks for 4 and we couldn't finish it. Terrible management. Vying for profits at the detriment of their customers. Don't even go there.

Not the best of experiences. When we sat down no drink menus were given to us which is surprising because we were 4 adults. We arrived at 7:40 and it took us almost 30 minutes to get our appetizers, and on top of that we only got half of our order for the main course and that was around 8 turning 9. I understand restaurants can get busy but seeing servers ask other tables (frequently) how they were doing and we barely got that(and it wasn't even who we ordered from that came to check up on us). It was my brothers birthday and he didn't even get to enjoy his meal at your establishment because from what we've gathered from speaking with the server it hadn't been notified to the kitchen yet. Just super long wait and mediocre service.

The sourdough and focaccia were delicious. We also got cinnamon rolls, quiche and two lattes, the guy who helped us to choose was patient and attentive and then we were greeted with a big smile from the kind lady who served us the coffee. An amazing experience 🥰

L'endroit est sympa, la décoration également et les plats sont assez correct pour leur prix ( quantité). Nous avons passé ma conjointe et moi même un excellent repas et pu apprécier une bonne calzone et escalope de poulet pané au parmesan. Seul bémol, nous étions venu un samedi soir et nous avions juste derrière nous un repas d'entreprise ou certains clients avaient gardés leur casquette et mis des vidéos avec le volume élevé durant le repas. C'est dommage que certaines personnes prennent ce genre de restaurant pour un fast food et se comporte comme s'ils étaient dans un Tim Horton....mais à part ça un beau moment en amoureux.

What a great spot for dinner and an event. Food was fantastic, staff knowledgeable, chef was incredible. Could not ask for a better place. We had 20 people and it felt like they were able to serve us all at the same time and the quality was top notch. We will be back. Note: they could use a few more gluten free options.

To be honest, the food tastes great and the ingredients are fresh. The review is 3 stars due to the cleanliness. The staff don't change gloves and they touch everything with their gloves from screens to cash to cellphones, and are using the same gloves to handle food. I have never seen them wash their hands properly between taking an order from the register and preparing food, and if they do, they wash with water only and no soap. This needs to be addressed and management should enforce strict washing hands and changing gloves policies.

I bought a croissant and another baked good with apple filling (I forgot the name sorry) but it was truly delicious. The layers and flake were amazing. The apple filling was the best I've ever tried. The girl serving me was also really nice!! I will definitely be back.
