This place is nice if you're looking to enjoy a night out, and I'll admit the service and atmosphere were good. That said, I personally find it very overhyped, and my friends felt the same way. Unfortunately, our experience started off on a negative note. The bouncer was extremely rude when we tried to get our friend inside (we were very respectful). He aggressively told us,'I'm going to need you to back off, stop talking and leave!' We were honestly shocked at how poorly he spoke to us. It definitely set the tone for the evening (considering it was my friend's birthday!!). As for the food, it's overpriced for small portions and nothing particularly special in terms of taste or presentation. I wouldn't come back for dinner. There are definitely better spots out there with better music, better value, and a more welcoming attitude. Overall, it feels more like a place that's'for show' rather than somewhere you'd return to for the full experience.

I've gone here with colleagues several times for lunch, today was the last time. The place keeps getting filthier and the waitress (same server each time, I think she's the owner) is so unpleasant and rude. I left a $2 tip to reflect the service received, and I feel even that amount was being generous. She insisted on a minimum even after I told her the service was poor. Why have a restaurant if you hate people? Also, maybe take a mop to the joint...

This place has an amazing, cozy vibe as soon as you walk in. It feels like an old-school vintage spot filled with memories and great energy. The food exceeded my expectations - I had the Cali burger with a poutine that had a beef patty in it . In addition, it's budget-friendly. I'll definitely be coming back and sharing this amazing spot with my friends.

Cela fait 2 ans que je viens au memento, j'adore cet endroit. Cependant, j'avoues avoir été très déçue hier soir. L'un de nos serveur (blond portant un t-shirt rouge du memento) a été particulièrement désagréable. Il nous parlait sur un ton inapproprié, le fait d'être une femme plus jeune m'a fait ressentir qu'il se permettait plus de choses qui si j'avais été plus âgée ou un homme. Lorsque nous sommes allés régler les factures, ce dernier est passé derrière moi en me criant de bouger et en me touchant le dos pour que je ne sois plus dans son chemin, ce qui est totalement inapproprié! Ce dernier semblait être ivre. De plus la musique était trop forte on devait crier pour s'entendre. Je suis très déçue de cette expérience. Memento était un endroit de référence pour moi et j'en garde malheureusement un goût amer et ne penses plus y retourner avant un bon moment...

Pasta and garlic bread were fantastic! My friend and I went right after Valentine's Day and it was BUUUUSY… I don't think they have enough waiters. Still, staff was very kind and very sweet. It's a very small bistro, so when busy it can be noisy… I'd recommend to book in advance!

Very elite experience. Food was nicely cooked or like they say cooked to perfection. Lamb was a group favorite. For me the ambience made an impact. The drinks were also really done well and many options were available.Only regret is it not accepting the credit card we had. Made it a little embarrassing after the whole valentine day dinner with a big group.

La nourriture est bonne pour des sushi sur place. Le service est excellent sauf que les commandes sont parfois lentes. Une belle ambiance de soir, mais l'endroit est un peu petit. Assez de stationnement gratuit à l'exterieur. Gros point: reservation requise et un maximum de 2h alloué aux tables donc à tennir en compte.

La première fois qu'on y était allés, nous avions vraiment trouvé ça bien. C'était bon, le service était rapide, on en avait eu pour notre argent... Par contre, la seconde fois nous a fait déchanter. Le système de commande par téléphone ne fonctionnait pas, il fallait commander via des feuillets qui ne donnaient que les noms des plats. Je ne sais pas pour vous mais, pour ma part, j'ai besoin de voir ce que je commande quand je mange des sushis. Les noms en japonais ne me disent absolument rien... Ensuite, la bouffe était vraiment ordinaire. Pas mauvaise -a part mon riz frit aux légumes qui goûtait le brûlé-juste ordinaire. Le service aussi était très... Quelconque. La jeune fille était pleine de bonne volonté mais, malheureusement, c'était insuffisant. Elle ne connaissait pas ses produits donc, c'était plutôt difficile de répondre à nos questions ou de bien nous conseiller. À 145$ le repas, plus le pourboire, je me serais attendu à mieux. Pour deux parents qui ne se permettent que rarement ce genre de sortie, ce fut une amère déception...
