Have not been to Gibbys since the new ownership and must say, the changes have been disappointing. The food is not as good as it used to be. The bread is not the egg bread, has been replaced by regular bread, the salad is smaller and the dressing is different. The prices have also increased quite a bit. But not only that, the bathrooms don't have the seat covers anymore and the hand paper is exactly that, rough paper what used to be soft hand paper, almost like a towel. And the Air Conditioning wasn't working which made our general experience unpleasant. It's a shame that such a solid Montréal institution has fallen into the hands of a company who prioritizes profit over dining quality experience. Not sure we will be visiting again due to this. At least the service, as always, was cordial and warm as it has always been.

Food: delicious The courtyard is a nice place to eat on a warm day. Service: Needs much improvement. It opens at 5pm, and tables were still being set with water, oil & vinegar etc. We ordered a bottle of wine and waited 20mins, we asked our server, and he forgot! Some tables had a bread basket, other tables no water. We had to ask for the bread basket, oil&vinegar. The Wait Staff seems to all start at 5pm, but for a good 45 mins, there was mass confusion between them. They seem to all be under the age of 25, with no one to guide them or give direction, no mature overseer. The back of the house seems to have it together but the front of the house, needs help.

Great Italian restaurant with a lovely terrace atmosphere. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. Friendly service and a relaxing outdoor setting made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Realmente un poco decepcionado de mi última visita hace un par de semanas, tengo yendo ya bastantes ocasiones y normalmente muy satisfecho, pero esta última vez me encontré con personal diferente y no con la misma actitud de servicio de otras ocasiones, el menú con sabores muy diferentes y no me agrado el sabor de mínimo 4 cosas que deguste. Gracias

La qualité des produits est bonne mais les prix sont clairement excessifs. La serveuse s'est quand même permis de réclamer les 2 dollars de pourboire qui manquaient pour atteindre les 15% de pourboire. Un pourboire de près de 20$ quand même pour 4 bagels, 4 boissons et 3 desserts ! Je trouve que ce restaurant ne vaut pas le détou

My family has been ordering and dining in at this location for at least 40 years since they moved from Lasalle to D.D.O. when I was 5, and I'm 46 this July! The food has always been the same: EXCELLENT! I am always happy to see Linda and company who are always so courteous and polite, and like visiting an old friend! Other BBQ chicken restaurants can't compare to this place, because it is uniquely *SO* good, from the savory rôtisserie flavor to the gravy, fries and even the bun 😋 If I might make a suggestion, if there is *ANY* way to make a wings option/variety in the exact same way as the rôtisserie chicken (crispy skin with that savory rôtisserie flavor you are known and famous for), I feel it will be a real winner 💯🔥🤩👍 I haven't been able to come by as often as I'd have liked these past few years, but I'm glad I was able to 3 times this week alone 😋👍

Wonderful experience at Crêperie Chez Suzette as always. We were served by Antoine, and he was a very quick and attentive server, extremely hospitable. Minimal wait time for a very good indoor table. Perfect for a rainy day! Will definitely come again.

J'ai été déçu par l'accueil et le service lors de ma visite. Les serveuses se sont montrées peu polies et parfois désagréables dans leurs échanges avec les clients. Un sourire, un ton courtois et une attitude plus professionnelle contribueraient grandement à améliorer l'expérience. La qualité du service est aussi importante que celle des plats, et malheureusement cela a nui à mon appréciation du restaurant.

•The fruits were so thin and dry (not fresh). And it was like only 3 pieces of fruits. First time i went to eat breakfast and the fruits little bowl/plate is not generous. •The smoked salmon bagel was good! •The potatoes were not bad. •The matcha latte was not good at all. •The portion of the cup of chocolate milk is very small like an expresso cup for almost 4$.

Les propriétaires sont complètement déconnectées. Ont nous a servi un cappuccino fait avec du café au percolateur. Puis du café filtré dans des tasses sales. Plutôt que de nous donner une nouvelle tasse de café elle a versé de la tasse salle à une tasse propre. À notre arrivée (groupe de 9) les tasse les étaient montées mais sales. Nous avons su insisté pour qu'elles soient nettoyer. Puis nous avions une table de 8 car selon une des propriétaires, il y avait toujours des gens qui ne se présentait pas. On fêtait une amie. La 9e personne a dû s'installer sur le bout de la table. Le repas était mauvais. Bruler mais avec un refus de changer - car selon la propriétaire c'est toujours comme cela. À éviter. Il y a d'incroyables restos à Montréal, ce ben est pas un.

Mon expérience à l'Européa fut un véritable chef-d'oeuvre. L'art de la gastronomie, combiné à la passion du service, a fait de cette table gourmande une expérience exceptionnelle. Les dix services, ainsi que le boeuf Kobe, furent une réussite remarquable. Je tiens également à souligner le savoir-faire, l'expertise et l'expérience immersive qu'offre non seulement le restaurant, mais aussi toute l'équipe derrière ce travail acharné. C'est une expérience qu'il faut vivre au moins une fois dans sa vie. Je remercie chaleureusement le restaurant d'avoir si bien accueilli mon conjoint et moi-même. Mention d'honneur à Emma, l'hôtesse de l'Européa, qui a su nous offrir un accueil des plus chaleureux et dépasser toutes nos attentes. Également, un grand merci au sommelier, qui a su trouver le vin parfait pour accompagner l'ensemble des mets. Je recommande très fortement l'Européa.

Très abordable! On en a pour notre monnaie certainement. Nous avons commandé les plantain frit, le combo numéro trois et six. On était rassasié. Pour ma part, j'a trouvé que le plat de yuca avec porc était un peu lourd. Le tout restait quand même très bon.

We hosted our daughter's baptism at Towne380. What a wonderful experience it was! What a genuine and warm welcoming into their restaurant.'Filotimo' is the word used to describe the whole team. Thank you to Mina the event coordinator for her excellent communication. Greg the owner was extremely professional and attentive to all details. Great leadership. Delicious food. Everything was delivered efficiently and with detail. Thank you to Tom our head waitor who stood out for his knowledge, experience and client service. To the whole team of waiters, we thank you for your outstanding service. Towne380 really knows how to take care of you. We highly recommend this restaurant. Chaque fois que je passe dans le secteur, je fais toujours un arrêt chez Pizza Welat. C'est devenu ma pizzeria incontournable. Les pizzas sont toujours fraîches et vraiment délicieuses. On voit qu'ils utilisent des ingrédients de très bonne qualité, et ça se goûte dans chaque bouchée. Ce que j'apprécie particulièrement, c'est qu'ils ont toujours réussi à maintenir la même qualité au fil des années. C'est rare de voir une constance comme ça.

An extraordinary experience, with excellent food, a great crowd, and very attentive and helpful staff. The restaurant is located away from downtown Montreal, which might initially cause some hesitation or concern, but the restaurant is very pleasant and welcoming. You can bring your own beverages, and they do not charge a corkage fee, which is very rare in Canada. It was a wonderful evening.

Everything was going so well up until the waiter came for us to pay. I'm a college student and the only money I get is from my part-time job, I'm basically broke and the little bit of money I can put aside I use for the bare minimum. I didn't end up being able to tip and the lady basically threw a tantrum about it and tried to get me to give her a tip. She then didn't give me my receipt until I stressed it and she threw it on the table. Absolutely inappropriate, not coming back again.

The food was good. Everything was going well, but when it was time the waitress FORCED me to tip. She was standing really close to me almost leaning on my shoulder. Will not be going back as she made me feel very uncomfortable.

Google gave the restaurant café a rating of 4.6 stars, and I would want to go check it out. I've never been there before. I had placed an order for green salad and veau cutlets. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the veau's thin slicing and small quantities. I give the veau cutlets 1 star, thus I don't understand why they give it 4.6 stars. The food was overpriced and of poor quality. I'm not recommended to eat there.

Good Italian Food at a reasonable price. In the summer, there is a very nice terrace. The main dining rooms are very noisy and make it difficult to have a quiet conversation at the time.
