First time trying Chinese hot pot and it was delicious! So many different broths to choose from, followed by all you can eat of different beef, chicken, and fish that you cook in the broth. Staff was very helpful in explaining different dishes and how to prepare them. So if you're not sure about a dish, just ask the staff. A great first time experience!

Best bread and pastry in Montreal! I just LOVE the chausson aux pommes and the fougasse aux olives. Always buying more than I came for! For take away better go early in the morning to avoid the queue. It gets crowded and noisy during the day, reason why I never sit for a coffee and desert. The outside sitting is rudimentary; it could be a nice terrace during the summer (maybe due to personnel costs? no interest to maintain it). The Hot chocolate is average, probably ok for North American standards/ taste.

Listen, their baked goods are great, prices are ok, and I like supporting local bakeries. However, I understand that things can get very busy and packed, but it's not the customers' fault if they're understaffed. I got blamed for so many times - I said for here, only to be told off why didn't I say so earlier; I moved to the front of the line for something, only to be told off why I didn't mention to the previous staff at a previous station, dude there was no one there. Even IF it was my fault, unless I did something horrible, you shouldn't tell off customers like that. These young folks didn't seem to have any customer service training. And the place could be cleaned more frequently.

Demander une baguette bien cuite est devenu un luxe , les vendeuses vous font la gueule comme si que vous avez demandé la lune ! Le service est indigne et irrespectueux , préciser la cuisson de sa baguette est quelque chose de tout a fait normal, il faut former les employés,

We had a surprising good meal at this hotel restaurant! The chef knows what he's doing, for sure. The chicken chasseur in particular was outstanding. Steak was cooked medium rare as ordered. The staff were also terrific, and the pricing was reasonable. We'd stay at this hotel or nearby next time we're transiting Montreal just to come back to Le Semaphore.

Les critiques négatives sont très fidèles à l'expérience que ce vous aurez. C'est un bel endroit mais comme de nombreux autres à Montréal. Prix exagérés, service passable. La serveuse s'est trompé dans la facture (partager un item qui n'avait pas été commandé à 2) et nous a subtilement imposé de s'arranger entre nous plutôt que de corriger le tir. Avec ce type de standing, je m'attends à un sans faute.

We were on a ski vacation in Orford and found La Buvette when doing a google search for restaurants with vegan options. The experience was great from begging to end. Our server was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious! Vegan Hamburger nachos were a huge hit with the kids. My husband and I loved the classic vegan poutine and vegan Caesar.

Everything was perfect. From the helpful, attentive, patient staff, to the incredible, speakeasy-like atmosphere, to the live jazz band, to one of the best old-fashions I've had in my life. The burger was cooked to perfection, the spinach salad was seasoned and garnished BEAUTIFULLY, the fries were more like seasoned potato wedges. Easy to miss on the street, but an absolute home-run of an establishment that is not to be missed on a trip to the city. Upscale, expensive, but what you get is easily worth the price. Love that it's hard to find because it feels like secret knowledge for such an immaculate place. Even the walk up the stairs was neat.

J'ai visité le marché des artisans a 2 reprises et ça a toujours été une belle expérience. C'est un endroit propre, bien équipé et le personnel est très sympathique et courtois. Tout ce que j'ai goûté là a été délicieux. Le brunch des sucres est un buffet au thème de la cabane à sucre, à volonté pour 40$, c'est une très belle activité.

Bonjour , je suis venu aujourd'hui chez vous Et je n'ai pas pris la facture Hors je pense que le vendeur a fait quelque chose car je n'ai pas la meme sommes sur mon compte bancaire et sur la carte moi et je ne peux pas vérifier la facture … ce n'est pas normal que la somme ne coïncide pas je n'ai pas fait attention avec mes enfants pour vérifier … serait il possible de vérifier la facture et je nai pas donné de pourboire puisque c'était à emporter .

One of the best coffees I ever had - when it comes to the food, it wasn't really my taste (what can be entirely on me, since I could have chosen something different). I thought the white chocolate ganache was going to be sweet enough to balance the citrus and'sour' from the yogurt and fruits but it wasn't the case, to me it just tasted really sour. My suggestion would be to adjust the menu so the customer knows which fruits are part of the dish, or at least train the waitress to inform us - I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew that blood oranges were part of the recipe.

The food is ok, so are the prices. Sometimes the staff is not prepared for the amount of customers so you may have to wait a bit more than usual. The onion soup is really good but beware of the burger, the mix of raclette cheese and MTL bifteck spices is an acquired taste for some. What is really positive is the staff.

Great food and atmosphere! That said terminal is pushing you to give 18% tip minimum and that alone is making me hesitant to recommend. Even if the service and food is good, not giving me an option to give 15% except by diving into the menus feels scamy.
