Tout d'abord un gros bravo a toute l'équipe qui ont bien géré une situation particulière le samedi 10 janvier, la table a côté de nous étais très désagréable et fortement intoxiqué. Nicolas notre serveur et le gérant ont été très rapide, d'ailleurs trop professionnel. En cuisine notre plat est vite sortie et surtout chaud, c'était une belle soirée ✌?

January 3rd 2026 January 10th 2026 Bad service at the door, was called out Infront of client's, Micro aggression , racism , injustice was accused of giving attitude to the front desk when it's absolutely untrue my phone number was given to be called back to be seated they took my number wrong the last digits was wrong and the front desk told me I was giving them attitude for a mistake they made I was calm and collected the whole time ! I placed a complaint was called by management was given a free entry with my son they apologized I was happy with that conclusion! Come back one week later they LOST my ceramic they can't find it Go figure! I asked for my money back will never go back

While traveling from Toronto to Montreal, we stopped here for breakfast and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. The fresh orange juice was a perfect start to the day. A special shoutout to Kartik, who served us-he was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. Easily 10 out of 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kartik was a fantastic waiter food came out quick and coffees were continuously filled and pipping hot. He was super careful. If you happen to go to Petinos in DDO, make sure to ask for Kartik.
Le service était impeccable et la serveuse très agréable et professionnelle. Les assiettes étaient bien remplies avec une vraie portion de fruits frais et une portion raisonnable de pommes de terre (et non pas une tonne de pommes de terre et 2 ou 3 morceaux de fruits qui se battent en duels). En bref, on s'est régalé. Je recommande!
It's a cute café but incredibly disappointing. Previous visit had better food. This time, potatoes, eggs and avocado are bland. No salt available, must request it. By the time it arrived, food is cold. Toast was served dry, no butter. This must also be requested. After having paid, we were finishing up our coffee. A waitress (not the one who served our meal) came to the table, removed the cream and sugar and said'We beed the table. We have a reservation and they are already here'. I asked if she was asking us to leave and she simply said'yeah or maybe I can move you to another table'. She seemed to think that her request was completely reasonable. There were lots of empty tables. Why take ours ? The food, service and attitude is not worth the price. It was my second visit but it will be the last. The client isn't valued in this establishment. High prices and high table turnover. What counts here is the businesses bottom line.
Stopping in for a piece of pie they where sold Out we still sat down order Regular coffee it was Terrible tasted like water How did the service get so bad? I would put 0 however google does not have that option. I dont recommend this location.
One of the worst experiences. Brought my family and manager gave us bad looks the entire time, we decided not to sit at all. Very rude and we don't suggest this location. If owner is reading this, get a better manager. This was on Jan 11 2026.
I debated even writing this review, as I don't usually leave restaurant reviews-positive or negative. I received a gift card to Gibby's for Christmas and was genuinely excited to return. The gift card was purchased over the phone and was ready for pickup at the time of our reservation, which went smoothly. We were seated at a very tight table for two, with our chairs wedged between the backs of neighboring tables. While uncomfortable, we managed to settle in without disrupting other diners. Shortly after, another couple was seated at the table beside us, requiring us to stand-with drinks in hand-to allow them access to their seats. Unfortunately, this became a recurring issue throughout the evening. Our server, Sebastian, repeatedly squeezed past us to pour water, take orders, and deliver food, frequently bumping into me without offering an apology. The neighboring table eventually raised concerns about the lack of space and was reassigned, which once again required us to get up so they could exit. When salads, pickles, and bread arrived (all of which were very good), yet another table was seated nearby, and once again we had to interrupt our meal to let new diners through. Menus were passed over my head, and the repeated bumping continued. I was bumped well over a dozen times during the course of the meal without any acknowledgment. For our mains, we ordered two Gibby's cuts cooked medium. They arrived medium rare. While not prepared as requested, the food was still enjoyable, and we chose not to send it back. Overall, the food was solid. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. When it came time to pay, I mentioned the gift card. Having served before, I had already calculated a 20% tip based on the full bill, not just the remaining balance after the gift card was applied. The gift card was processed, the remaining balance paid by debit, and the tip entered accordingly. As I handed the payment machine back and said thank you, Sebastian tore off the receipt, tossed it onto the table, and walked away abruptly. If a 20% tip is considered unsatisfactory, I would suggest checking in with guests shortly after their mains arrive, minimizing physical disruptions throughout the meal, and offering a simple'excuse me' or'sorry' when repeatedly bumping into diners. Regardless of the tip amount, acknowledging and thanking guests is just good manners and what I would think is expected when you are representing a business. While the food was good, Montreal has many excellent restaurants. At Gibby's price point, the overall experience matters just as much as the food-and unfortunately, this experience didn't feel worth it. I'm glad this was a gift card, and I'll be choosing a different restaurant to recommend or gift in the future.

I chose Chez Leveque to celebrate a milestone birthday with my husband and 3 friends. I had eaten there several years ago on a visit to Montreal and had long wanted to return. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, our server was charming and attentive, the server assistant/food runner and the other staff members made us feel welcome, our steaks were perfectly cooked and the tarte tatin was excellent. I look forward to my next visit!

A Chows customer since June of 1985. Tonight was the last meal I will ever order from this restaurant. Delivery took 70+ mins and I have never been served a more disgusting meal in my life. Everything was absolutely disgusting. - verge-of-rotten vegetables in the Kung Pow (gross) - pre mixed Hot and Sour soup with constancy of 2 day old gravy - cold / half cooked grocery store egg rolls $40 and 90% of it went directly into the garbage I've always enjoyed the food in the past, which is why this was such a letdown. Never ordering again, that is certain.

Very well situated, we had an event in the old port, and this seemed like a good choice. The waiter was charming, very nice. The atmosphere is ordinary, but that's ok, I was there for lunch so I wasn't looking for something fancy. The crepes themselves were disappointing, very disappointing, they were bland. My husband ordered the Charlevoix, the spinach was raw, the crepe was sweet. I had the Laurentian, my kids also chose different crepes, they all tasted the same. The dessert crepes were pretty good, but not the lunch ones.
Everything was really good, the food, the ambience, the service, it was amazing. So recommended!

I went here 20-25 years ago on lunch break in high school, and it hasn't changed a bit. Same friendly face, same amazing food. Make sure you get the smoked meat!!
I absolutely loved it, I was in town only for one night and wanted to try local food, and it was just amazing, staff was kind even though it was busy, food was absolutely fantastic, waiting time was short, and price was reasonable as I ordered various things. Definitely worth it!

On a pris un filet mignon qui n'était pas du tout tendre. Le serveur, au lieu d'entendre notre insatisfaction nous transfère la responsabilité sur nous, car on a supposément pas su dans quelle direction couper cette viande. Garder des couteaux à beurre sur la table alors qu'on sert de la viande rouge, viens avec une certaine responsabilité. Peut-être qu'une étoile Michelin leur a amené beaucoup de volume, mais ce n'est pas une raison pour prioriser la quantité sur la qualité. Culpabiliser le client sur comment couper une viande alors qu'ils servent un filet mignon hyper raide parce qu'ils servent les partie de l'extrémité est complètement pathétique pour un restaurant étoilé.
La Table Gourmande by Jérôme Ferrer was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. From the service to the food-and even the comfort of the dining space-the restaurant fell short on every level. Having dined at four Michelin-starred restaurants in the same week, I was genuinely surprised this establishment had earned one. We were seated by a window, which in itself was not a problem, but the temperature was uncomfortably cold. In a city known for its freezing winters, I expected better insulation or heating. I eventually had to retrieve my jacket just to stay warm during the meal. As for the food, overall it lacked depth of flavor and refinement. The poached egg was lukewarm, the bay scallops were bland, and the lobster mac and cheese was both greasy and uninspired. The Caesar-style cabbage dish was similarly disappointing. Service issues compounded the experience-our server once forgot to replace our cutlery between courses, leaving us unable to eat while our dishes cooled. On another occasion, plates were cleared while we were still eating. To make matters worse, one dish was so tough to cut that it ended up spilling down my front despite my care. Unfortunately, none of the staff seemed to notice or offer assistance. The poor service continued even at the end of the evening. After waiting an extended time for our check, I eventually stood at the front of the restaurant. After about 10 minutes, I asked a staff member to please bring my husband the bill, which then took another 10 minutes to process. Overall, the restaurant failed to deliver the level of quality, service, and hospitality expected of a Michelin-starred establishment.

This steakhouse is incredibly consistent-I always order the same dish, and the quality never ceases to amaze me. The steak is perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The service is just as impressive; our server was as attentive as ever without being overbearing, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. From start to finish, everything was excellent. A place I can always rely on and highly recommend. Few notes to add: they have a coat check downstairs, bring to tip if you'd like. Their washroom were always exceptionally clean and there is plenty of free parking in the front.
Wow ! Si vous cherchez de vraies pâtes fraîches, c'est ici qu'il faut venir, c'est excellent. Les pizzas sont aussi très réussies, mention spéciale pour celle aux champignons. Mais ce qui marque le plus, c'est le large choix de pâtes et leur fraîcheur irréprochable. Amateurs de bonnes pâtes, vous êtes au bon endroit.
Nous sommes arrivés en groupe et l'expérience a été extrêmement décevante. L'organisation était chaotique : manque de places, aucun souci du confort et une gestion clairement déficiente. Le service était très lent. Je ne recommande pas.
