Fantastic tasting sushi, which is very fresh & smooth & they have so many different rolls that you can order from. The pricing is all very reasonable & it does get busy very fast so I would recommend making reservations, especially on a weekend. Lots of different wine & sake to choose from & the staff are very friendly be prepared though if it is very busy, there is a small wait.

I had a wonderful dinner at Gyoka Izakaya Sushi Bar this past Saturday evening. Even with the pre-Mother's Day rush, the entire experience was seamless & highly enjoyable.
The Food & Ambiance
The quality of the food is outstanding-everything tasted incredibly fresh & well-prepared. The ambiance is another high point; it has a really nice, welcoming energy that makes it perfect for a special weekend meal.
The Service
What truly sets this place apart is the attentive service. Our waitress was fantastic & seemed to anticipate our needs before we even spoke. For example, when my chopsticks accidentally fell on the floor, she brought a new pair to the table immediately without me even having to ask.
Special Touches
Since it was the evening before Mother's Day, they were kind enough to offer a complimentary dessert, which was a lovely & thoughtful gesture.
Between the great food, the vibrant atmosphere, & the top-tier hospitality, I highly recommend Gyoka for anyone looking for a quality dining experience. I will definitely be returning!
I had a wonderful experience at this little hidden gem, Gyoka Izakaya in St. Lambert. The sushi & sashimi were incredibly fresh. Each bite practically melted in my mouth, & you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I also tried the ramen noodle soup, which was just as impressive; rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles. The service was attentive & friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The space is on the smaller side, but it feels warm & cozy rather than cramped. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for great a Japanese meal!
