About

Established for over twenty years, the bistro des bières belges is housed in an authentic Canadian house of over 150 years old. The original house was a railway station, then a farm house where the current mezzanine served as a grain warehouse.

For several years, different businesses have occupied the site. On the menu, you'll find mussels which are famous to this bistro. They are prepared to your liking, with one of the thirteen house recipes and served with excellent mayonnaise french fries. While maintaining a Belgian touch, the bistro also offers grilled meats and local Quebecois products. To compliment your meal you'll have a choice of over 100 imported beers, the majority of which come from Belgium.

Come see the different categories: White, Fruity, Blondes, Amber, Brown and Pressure. In addition, a fine selection of wines is available. The bistro gives out a warm welcome in an old house with a beautiful garden terrace in the summer. You're invited to discover a small corner of Belgium on the South Shore. See you soon!

Wow! Le menu, les prix, le service & les plats, tout était parfait! Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour un bref arrêt pour dîner & nous avons dégusté le tartare de saumon (pas de photos), le pokébowl au saumon, la coquille St-Jacques avec frites & salade ainsi que la soupe, le sandwich brie pesto & la salade. Les prix étaient abordables sur l'heure du dîner, les assiettes copieuses & le service efficace malgré le fait que notre serveur était seul & qu'il y avait plusieurs tables occupées.

Très grand choix de bières belges, mais aussi d'importation, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Ils ont aussi des cocktails, vins, cafés comiques & autres pour les personnes n'aimant pas la bière. La nourriture y est bien exécutée & réconfortante.

Si vous aimez les moules c'est l'endroit à aller. Tartare ok mais beaucoup trop de sauce. Bières à majorité belges (bien normal vu le nom) qui sont assez dispendieuse 12$ à 18$ la bouteille.

Première fois pour nous & belle découverte ! Excellente Nourriture & tres bon service. Un choix de sangria a la bière serait vraiment intéressant sur le menu. Nous reviendrons assurément!

Nous avons eu une petite erreur avec notre commande & ils ont su nous accommoder avec gentillesse. De plus leur tartares est excellent. Je vous recommence pour n'importe quelle occasion.

Will always support a place selling Belgian beer. A bit on the expensive side but at least the selection is really good. I wouldn't say the place is Belgian though. They didn't even know there was the USA Belgium game ongoing🤦?♂?. Also the food itself is barely Belgian. The carbonnade flamande was just a regular beef stew. The place looks nice tho.
I also wish they had the glasses to match their beers.
