About

Established for over twenty years, the bistro des bières belges is housed in an authentic Canadian house of over 150 years old. The original house was a railway station, then a farm house where the current mezzanine served as a grain warehouse.

For several years, different businesses have occupied the site. On the menu, you'll find mussels which are famous to this bistro. They are prepared to your liking, with one of the thirteen house recipes and served with excellent mayonnaise french fries. While maintaining a Belgian touch, the bistro also offers grilled meats and local Quebecois products. To compliment your meal you'll have a choice of over 100 imported beers, the majority of which come from Belgium.

Come see the different categories: White, Fruity, Blondes, Amber, Brown and Pressure. In addition, a fine selection of wines is available. The bistro gives out a warm welcome in an old house with a beautiful garden terrace in the summer. You're invited to discover a small corner of Belgium on the South Shore. See you soon!

Très belle découverte ce midi! Nous étions 4 personnes & chacun de nos assiettes, etaient délicieux! Je ne peux pas donner d'avis sur la bière, parce que lors d'un dîner de travail je ne prends pas de bière! Je le recommande fortement!!!

Ça faisait longtemps qu'on voulait manger des moules. A la thaï pour moi & au roquefort pour mon conjoint. Un régal! On reviendra, la carte propose plein d'autres plats. Ça donne envie de revenir. Le staff est accueillant & efficace. Un gros plus on s'entend parler, la terrasse est agréable. Une très bonne adresse sur la rive sud.

Bouffe excellente!!! Le burger de la St. Patrick était tout simplement décadent. Le serveur était génial! Nous avons adoré notre bouffe, notre expérience ainsi que l'ambiance. Bref nous avons eu une merveilleuse soirée.

Excellent restaurant! Le menu est incroyable & le service… impeccable. Toujours les mêmes serveurs : sympathiques, drôles & très accueillants, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable.
Que ce soit pour un dîner, un souper en amoureux, entre amis ou même en solo, je recommande cet endroit sans hésitation.

bonne bière 🍺
La musique n'est pas trop forte on s'entend discuter
Sur les photos c'est la carbonade flamande & la lasagne au canard & truffes de l'ardoise je recommande les deux

Gauffre liégeoise avec trop de chantilly & pas impressionnante je recommande plutôt la crème brûlée qui est très bonne
