The Bidon Taverne Culinaire evokes the perfect place to enjoy Montreal bistronomy in the heart of Saint-Lambert. With its inventive and refined accents, Le Bidon invites you to a different and stimulating gastronomic experience. Headed by our new executive chef, Marc-Alain Campeau, our kitchen is full of ardent talents, including Benjamin Binard as midday chef. Our manager/sommelière-advisor, Valérie Cadieux, will be delighted to guide you through our unique choices of privately imported wines. Great care is taken with our menu as well as our “off-menu”, traveling through a range of organic, biodynamic and natural wines, from the accessible to the most upscale. J'avoue avoir été un peu déçue.. le carpaccio était incroyable mais pour le reste honnêtement c'était juste correct. Heureusement les huîtres étaient à 1,50$ spécialement car elles étaient minuscules & les accompagnements proposés quasi absents. Pour les pétoncles ; on doit m'expliquer la menthe & la coriandre dans ce plat ? & que dire des frites.. la mayo à l'aneth était intéressante mais les frites en soit bien ordinaire. J'avais l'impression de visiter un resto à la hauteur du CRU mais plutôt milieu de gamme. C'était bon mais sans plus.

On a adoré notre petite salle intime c'était parfait
Sur google par contre c écrit apportez votre vin & en arrivant sur place la gérante dit que non ca devrait être corrigé
Nous y sommes retourné aujourd'hui 7 mois plus tard toujours très belle salle privé & absolument souligné service exceptionnel de Mathieu vraiment super👌👌👌

I have eaten is restaurants all over north America, Asia & a little in Latin America. So often I find a restaurant trying to serve fine Cusine food but just don't know how. Calamari was tough, poached codfish'pieces' with cold creme fresh & tomato wedges on it was uneatable. Baked brie sitting on some kind of apple & walnuts served with a over toasted bread was not soft appetizing & a seafood pasta was just spaghetti with a few pieces of seafood & a plane'over salted' white sauce.
One cocktail & two small glasses of wine was 200$+. I'm definitely not going back.

I can't say that I enjoyed the food. Ordered Calamari as an entree & was tough. The cod fish was come in small pieces served on cold Crème fraîche & 7 fresh wedges tomatoes as a garnish plush sprinkled fresh diced tomatoes on top of fish. I couldn't eat it. Is a good thing I replaced baked potato with French fries & was good. Definitely won't come back. Sorry 🙏
