Had an amazing time as a party of 7, Natalie was an incredible server, very knowledgeable about all the drinks, I was particularly impressed with her ability to break down the flavor profiles of the different absinthes. Food was great as well, highly recommend!

Remus was our server & he was welcoming & knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered the snail, bootlegger burger, & poutine & literally everything was on point. I ordered a ginger based cocktail, so yummy. Their ac was broken so it was quite hot but I'm not holding that against them. I'll be back!

My group of three loved this place! Our server was friendly, warm, but had an acute sense of urgency - just enough to be busy but not enough to make us feel overlooked. He was great.

Our food was delightful. We ordered the charcuterie, truffle bread, & ratatouille.

The charcuterie had a lovely assortment of meats with thoughtful & generous accoutrement; it was beautifully assembled & delicious - definitely enough for the three of us to comfortably share.

The truffle bread was phenomenal. The baguette was fresh, the cheese generous & warm, & the wilted spinach underneath was perfect for catching the oil & adding some freshness.

The ratatouille was not the over-engineered medallion format, but a generous ramekin of chunks of the vegetables. It was fresh & flavorful, & again, came with lovely bread & olives, apricots, etc like the charcuterie.

Each of us had a glass of wine, & I had a lovely cocktail that was creative & refreshing.

Our very minor complaints were the noise (impossible to hear each other, although it was a Friday) & how hot it was. These were not bad enough to make us not want to return, but those who are sensitive may not enjoy that.

The place had great energy & was so beautiful inside. We loved our experience & would be regulars here if we were local!!

I was visiting Montreal for a few days & we came across Bootlegger & I'm glad we did. Drinks were awesome & the the bartender, I think Tyler was his name was great. Next time I'm in town definitely going to stop in again.

We were excited to try this place & reserved a table ahead of time. But then we were ignored by waitstaff for around 40 minutes while sitting at our table. It wasn't crowded, which made things more awkward. There are so many good places to go in this city that I wouldn't waste your time here.

The service was slow & they got one of the drinks wrong. Some of the cocktails aren't worth the hefty 18$ considering that another bar with similar prices would have much better service & atmosphere (& frankly, better taste)
