This restaurant is located in the food belt of West Island. It has a variety of pasta, almost every dish is good with large quantity. The prices are reasonable. Each table also comes with baguette & vinaigrette. It is a good place to share & enjoy with families & friends.

They have a large menu with a lot of variety in between 20$-40$. We both ordered chicken but didn't like the butter, lemon & white whine plate. The sauce was nice but the chicken texture wasn't. When you order a plate with veal or chicken, you can choose between 2 different pasta on the side. I enjoyed the penne with the spicy tomato sauce but it didn't go well with the chicken in my opinion. I wish the calamari had more seasoning but the sauce it came with & the crispiness was nice. The service was fast, we were placed upon arrival without any reservation on a Saturday. We were sitted in a corridor with a lot of movement & the place was really loud for a conversation. We got all our plates at the same time & since everything comes individually, it got overcrowded for the table. For the calamari & our 2 plates (no drinks), it cost a little over 100$ with tip

Had a fantastic meal with our cousins at Scarolies Pasta Emporium. We all had different dishes for dinner, & each one was excellent. Mine was the Lasagna, & it was very filling. I had a Cesear Salad with it, & it was perfectly prepared with just enough dressing & barely a drop left over on the plate. Lasagna was piping hot with lots of beef & cheese. The same high quality was experienced by my dinner table, with Veal Marsala & Veal Port with pears & leeks. They both loved their dishes. & finally the Rosé pasta was also perfectly prepared. We never felt rushed & enjoyed our sitting outside, even with a little rain, it was all enjoyable. Thanks to the staff & cooks - it was all fantastic!

The food is always great, & the service is exceptional. Their salads are good & their main dishes are varied & rich. Love the angel hair pasta with shrimp. Gnocchi gorgonzola is full of flavor Kids' meal selection is wide with several good options Only issue was that for a big group air-conditioning was weak on a hot day

The food is very good.The pasta dishes in general are excellent.If you don't have time to cook a meat sauce,I would recommend ordering a litre of meat sauce to go for fourteen dollars.The sauce is heated & they throw in a warm crusty bread for free.Much appreciated!!The ladies when you come in give five star service.Plenty of parking.my opinion go for it,good quality, great prices.

I couldn't resist going back several times to my favorite Italian restaurant in West Island! They have a wide variety of dishes, & everything is delicious! You must try the calamari-it's some of the best in Montreal! Crispy, tender, & perfectly seasoned. Their pasta is amazing too, whether it's with red sauce, white sauce, or pesto. I recommend adding some chili flakes for an extra kick. The lamb chops are a signature dish, perfectly seasoned & absolutely divine! If you're in the mood for beef but find steaks too large, try the steak bavette-tender & juicy. The portions are generous, & I often end up taking leftovers home. If you're ever in West Island, I highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

Institution! This is a must visit when in West Island. Gluten free appetizers & pasta were amazing! The atmosphere is like sitting at a busy Italian market eating with your closest 100 relatives. Reservation highly recommended especially if you have a large group.

The greeters are very unhappy. No smile, no hello, two of them basically just looked at us & waited for us to engage with them. Same with the waiter. It's like we are to blame because they were understaffed. The Cesar salad was drenched with dressing & the croutons were stale. The pasta was cold but still very tasty.

Scarolies is our favourite Italian restaurant in Montreal. We've celebrated special occasions here or just shared wonderful meals with our families for the last 15+ years. The pasta is delicious, the portions are generous & the prices are reasonable, especially the table d'hôte. We also really enjoy the fresh baguette. Of all the dishes I've tried, my favourite dish is the Linguini with Giant Shrimps in a Brandy Rosé sauce & when I'm in the mood for something a bit spicy, I really like the Capelli di Angelo alla Diablo dish. Thank you Scarolies for serving us such delicious food over the years.

Once again visited my favorite. Italian restaurant..& as always the meal was awesome! Linguini with huge shrimps & a terrific Italian salad..it was an awesome meal & the servers as always were flawless ! Celebrated my birthday yesterday here..our server Mela was awesome ..knowledgeable & friendly adding greatly to wonderful food & ambiance! One of my very favorite restaurants..try the pasta with Jumbo shrimps & the steak ( my mouth is watering lol) Even the Italian salad is terrific. Go...you won't be disappointed!

My very first time at Scarolies! I know, I know, what took me so long! I absolutely loved it! Our waitress was an absolute pro! The calamari melts in your mouth & the pasta was al denté & delicious! &, the portions! Outstanding experience!

An institution. I went back for the first time in probably 15 years & they still make amazing pasta. The price is extremely reasonable considering they bring you all you can eat bread with olive oil & balsamic. The pasta portions are huge & the cocktails are not bad at all. Service was great. Reservations are definitely recommended.

First time at Scarolie's with another couple . Our waiter Sam was pleasant, professional & thorough. 😉 The menu is classic Italian fare & what we ordered was very delicious & the portions were generous. Pasta was denté, the filet mignon tender cooked to perfection ,my wife had the insalata with sea food, she loved it ! This eatery deserves the praise that we are showing , it did not let us down. The food was good but nothing exceptional; their portions are very generous. Lunch menu has lots of different options to suit everyone's craving. The pasta dish with rose sauce that I had was a bit bland, pasta was missing a bit of salt. The restaurant itself requires a major update; the chair cushions are so flat & thin that they are useless, as well the material is threadbare. The chairs are low & the tables high, making it a bit uncomfortable while sitting there for the meal. The menus are frayed & look like they've been there as long as the cushions. The concept of having a whole loaf of bread on the table needs to go, a bit excessive & irritating to have to cut it up, which in turn makes a huge mess on the table.

I've dine here a few years ago & the experience was pleasant, food was delicious. Love the variety & ambiance. I think few restaurants nowadays have that inviting, comforting feel & decor. Many new restaurants have rather minimalistic, cold, straight & boring modern decor. Scarolies kind of has that old charm italian garden, complete with waterfall & plants/vines. My most recent experience was on Saturday March 9, 2024 around 1pm. I ordered take out, just one plate of spaghetti carbonara. The restaurant was moderately busy but they were able to prepare my order quickly while I waited near the entrance - there are comfortable seats & enough room to wait. Very surprised that I got a whole complimentary baguette bread to take home & the portion size for my pasta was huge. Honestly so impressed with this meal! For the price, around 25$ + tax, it was well worth it, as it was enough food to feed at least 3 or 4 people. The hot & fresh bread is such as a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place for comforting & delicious italian food - even the take out container was a good reusable plastic, no spillage or leaking, everything was so well prepared, it was amazing.

Had an amazing experience! Loved the warm fresh bread with dipping oil to start the meal. Ordered meatballs for an appetizer, they were so tender & the red sauce was out of this world. Pasta dishes were delicious, ordered dessert to go & was not disappointed. Great ambiance & authentic! Will definitely return here when in Montreal!
