I came here for an anniversary dinner & the main draw for us as I have celiac is that this place is 100% gluten free! We loved this place, the options were amazing & everything was delicious, I've included in the photos the names of the menu items we ordered. Service was nice, the only thing was that the fried banana was slightly over fried but still yummy. It is very expensive, but this is our reality, would come again though!Voir plus
I really enjoyed the food at Satu Lagi! All of the items we ordered were delicious.
Since we were two, they offered to add an extra skewer to each dish for an additional fee so we could each enjoy two skewers per plate, & we appreciated this. I will say though, the food is on the pricier side so just be prepared for that.
We tried 3 satay skewers, the chicken, beef, & shrimp. They were all delicious & flavorful. The chicken & beef were very moist while the shrimp was a little bit overcooked but the sauce was so good. My favorite dishes were the chicken satay (Ayam), beef satay (Daging) & the Chinese broccoli dish (Kailan Bakar).
I was really happy with my overall experience. The staff was friendly & attentive. We also got lucky to be seated right away without reservations but I would recommend that you make reservations as they did get very busy. I would definitely go back, especially to try their bunch menu!Voir plus

A nice brunch spot on Mont-Royal. Went there with some friends for brunch & we tried an assortment of the satay entrees & the mains. They also had bottomless mimosa for 30$, which we found to be very reasonable. Overall I would recommend trying it out for brunch
The stand outs were definitely the satay skewers, we especially liked the beef & the fish. As for the mains, the maple fried chicken was pretty good.
As for the service, it was alright throughout the meal, the food came out a bit slow instead of all together which led to some waiting.Voir plus
Amazing dinner. The beef rendang threw me right back to my Yogyakarta trip, the fried mushroom dish was actual heaven, service was very attentive, & the decor is wonderful. I can only recommend, & look forward to coming again :)Voir plus
Had an incredible meal here. Server was welcoming & offered excellent recommendations from the all gluten-free menu. I had two small plates plus dessert & was absolutely stuffed. Chicken satay & pandan crème brûlée were highlights. This spot is best for smaller parties of 4 or less, & reservations recommended as it fills up quickly.

We had a great meal at Satu Lagi. The waiter guided us through the menu & we opted for the Jamur Jamur mushrooms (great with a sambal sauce), chicken satay (not bad but not great), rendang beef curry (a little one note in flavour), Chinese broccoli (so delicious!), & a chili cocktail (yummy)!Voir plus
Another Montreal Gem. Delicious!
I went with three others. We shared the Sambal assortment as an appetizer. I had the Rendang Daging beef dish, very tender with coconut citronella rice, & the Kailan Bakar chinese broccoli side dish. The flavours are all amazing. I also had the fried bananas for dessert; it's all good. My friends loved their dinner choices, the service was excellent & the sound level allows for conversations without having to yell.
Also, it's 100% gluten-free, coeliac-friendly.
Apparently Satu Lagi means'One More', in English. I say'several more' is how often we'll be going back.Voir plus
We truly enjoy dining at Satu Lagi whenever we are in Montreal. The authentic Indonesian cuisine is a major highlight, & the service is consistently excellent. My son particularly enjoys talking to Om Dana, who speaks Bahasa Indonesia, which makes our visits even more special.
We always make time to visit Satu Lagi to savor our favorite dishes. We love the ayam goreng & iga bakar, while my husband is a fan of the gudeg nangka. Our absolute favorite, however, is the Bebek Goreng, which is unfortunately not on the menu at the moment. We hope it will be available again soon.
Overall, Satu Lagi provides a delightful dining experience that keeps us coming back. It is highly recommended for anyone craving Indonesian food.Voir plus

Scrumptious food! Can't wait to go back! Everything was full of umami, portions are adequate. The music was a bit too loud in my opinion.Voir plus
