My sister & I came here yesterday & had such a lovely experience. Our waitress, Clara, was incredibly kind & welcoming from the moment we arrived. She kept the warmest smile the whole time & really went above & beyond to make sure we were happy & enjoying everything. The food was great & the restaurant itself is such a beautiful spot. We'll definitely be back!
RH Rooftop is less a restaurant & more a content studio that happens to serve food. Perched beneath a skylit atrium with heritage olive trees, cascading fountains & chandeliers that could make a parking lot look like Versailles, this place is so photogenic it should be paying you for showing up. At any given moment, 40% of the room is eating, & the other 60% is shooting a'candid' laughing video while their brunch gets cold. I counted three Hinge profile photoshoots before my drink arrived.
& yet - the food is genuinely good. The classics are executed with real care. The service is friendly, warm, & visibly overwhelmed - like a golden retriever who really wants to help but isn't entirely sure where it's going. They'll get to you.
Think of it as the Marcus for people who hate going downtown. Same elevated energy, same dressed-up crowd, except here everyone has a ring light in their bag & the valet is at a mall. Come for the chandeliers, stay for truffle fries, & don't be surprised when the person next to you asks if you can move slightly - you're in their shot.

Overall, my brunch experience was excellent at RH Rooftop restaurant. The service was perfect, the burger was excellent, & the atmosphere was nice too. A bit pricy & relatively small portions, but the quality made up for it.
This place has become our go-to brunch spot every weekend! The vibe is always so welcoming & relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind. The food is absolutely amazing-everything we've tried has been delicious & beautifully presented.
What really makes the experience special is the staff. They're always so friendly, attentive, & make you feel genuinely welcome every time we visit. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great brunch spot!
The place is very nice & I liked the food it was okay. However the vibe & the atmosphere was kinda off putting. The music was weird but the sound of the waterfall fountain thingy in the middle was nice. Just a tad bit overpriced but you are mostly paying for the location & the nice interior design.
the food was amazing! i got a salad & it tasted delicious. but the service was terrible. for such a gorgeous place its crazy that the servers dont check on you & dont create any sort of rapport. the server barely listened to us & barely checked on us. it was also my birthday & high class restaurants always offer free dessert or actually care about how the present the dessert that we ordered. they definitely to work on their service but the food is good.

I had long anticipated this experience for my bday, 1st time at RH. I hadn't read reviews prior but now understand the comments…super slow service, wrong side order, under cooked pink chicken…5 tiny potatoes cut in half served w whole chicken, sent back & took long time, no offering of anything while we wait…Manager apologized & offers free dessert. The banana split took over 25 min to arrive. Service kept robotic'my pleasure' answers, no personality, as if it's a privilege to be there…no water refill, etc etc $$$ for a wasted meal.
On était au RH pour un brunch , bon déjà pour retrouver le bâtiment c'était tellement galère mais on a trouvé finalement & c'était même pas si caché, notez que c'est un espace dans le Mall du mont royal donc faut passer par le Mont . Au delà de ça le service était impeccable, le personnel était super gentil . On a passé un bon moment
Très déçue. La bouffe était brûlée. Le service était médiocre, aucune attention ni professionnalisme. On a même recommandé des pains en espérant que ce serait mieux… ils sont arrivés encore brûlés. Inacceptable. Plus jamais.

The food & the atmosphere are phenomenal. We had a few mishaps like waiting a long time to get our entrees. However, our waitress CLARA's service was top notch. She gave us amazing recommendations & was very apologetic for the kitchens mistake & truly made up for the lack. She made our dinner fabulous & I would definitely come back. We came for an experience & we received an incredible one thanks to her.
I am not one to ever complain about food because it's really hard to mess food up in my opinion, but this place takes the cake. My friend's burger bread was hard as a rock. We knocked it on the plate & it made the loudest knock on the plate. Sides cost extra, so if you didn't pay extra for the fries it would've been just the burger on the plate & that's it. I had a salad with chicken added & it came up to $73 with tip which I think is an exaggeration, considering the fact that my chicken was so dry I could barely swallow it. The atmosphere is very nice, & some of the staff were very nice, some of them just plain rude. When we talked about our experience to our waiter Nico, he was very understanding & offered us free cookies to go. Thank you for the amazing service Nico you were very funny & king :)
The food is absolutely tasteless, the ribeye sandwich is the worst I've ever had for $42, & the oysters are the smallest I've ever seen. The prices are inflated. But the place is beautiful. I don't recommend it.
Die Location ist spektakulär: viele Kronleuchter, ein grosser Brunnen in der Mitte und insgesamt sehr schön inszeniert. Wir hatten einen der wenigen Tische direkt am Brunnen, das war wirklich toll. Von «Rooftop» merkt man allerdings wenig, es ist eher ein Restaurant im 5. Stock, die Terrasse war zudem zugeschneit.
Sehr gut waren das Glas französischer Champagner zu einem fairen Preis, die knusprigen Artischocken (originell, viel Rosmarin, feine Knoblauchsauce) sowie die Salate. Mein chinesischer Chicken Salad war lecker, und der Gem meiner Begleitung war ebenfalls sehr gut und riesig portioniert. Der bestellte Weisswein kam leider erst nach der Vorspeise, zu wenig gekühlt. Es wurde aber später regelmässig nachgeschenkt.
Der grosse Negativpunkt war jedoch die Qualität der warmen Gerichte: Die Crevetten-Vorspeise meiner Begleitung kam zu lange gegrillt, deshalb gummig und teilweise schwarz. Wir haben das sofort bemängelt. Umso enttäuschender war, dass mein Hauptgang danach genau gleich misslang: 8 Scampis, teils verkohlt und sogar kalt serviert.
Beim halben Hummer wurde uns auf Nachfrage bestätigt, dass er gegrillt sei. Er wirkte für uns jedoch eher wie gedämpft, jedenfalls fehlte die erwartete Grillnote. Dazu kam: Es gab keinerlei Beilagen, was auf der Speisekarte auch nicht erwähnt wird. Für dieses Preisniveau ist das enttäuschend, zumal stattdessen sehr viel Sauce serviert wurde. Wir haben deshalb den Rucola fair geteilt.
Auch beim Dessert das gleiche Bild: sehr süss, gute Konsistenz, aber deutlich zu dunkel karamellisiert. Zum Schluss wurden wir nicht gefragt, ob wir noch einen Kaffee möchten. Eine Weinberatung gab es ebenfalls nicht.
Bei diesem Preisniveau ist das Essen für uns insgesamt leider nur mässig gewesen. Schade, denn die Location hätte viel Potenzial.
I visited LRH Rooftop in Montreal with 11 friends. The atmosphere was nice & the food was acceptable, but the service was awful. We experienced long waits for drinks, appetizers, & mains; the manager was rude when I raised the issue. Billing was extremely slow - we were still waiting for our checks while putting on our coats. Overall I was very disappointed & would not recommend this location; the Toronto branch is much better.
I went there for my birthday the service was so bad no one came to check the orders no one came to check if the food was good , the waiters were looking at us to leave .they walk besides the table & start looking at us weirdly it was such a bad experience omg I have been to so many restaurants in Montreal but never been disappointed like this .
The service was terrible , the lack of respect & welcome was a bit of shock to me honestly.
The whole restaurant was in chaos , all rushing , the only nice service we received was from our waistress that was very nice to us.
The receptionist gave us a very poor welcome & threatened to give us only 1 hour & 45 minutes to eat because two people were missing from our reservation (out of 5), even though our table wasn't even ready when we arrived.
The restaurant is very nice but that's a very big price to pay considering that's the only nice thing you'll get from you're whole experience in the restaurant,
Disappointed.
