My favorite restaurant, & I was very happy to see it back in the area. Great staff, smiling & caring, lots of space inside & out, private parking, great food & good prices.
Unfortunately, I'm changing my original 5-star review to 2 stars for one major reason: you can no longer bring your own wine. That was one of the main reasons I loved Portovino in the first place.
& come on - learn a little Italian!'Porto vino' literally means'I bring wine.' Now apparently the answer is: No, you don't! 😂
Bring back the bring-your-own-wine policy & I'll gladly bring back the stars. Until then, I'm not coming back.

We came for the all you can eat mussels & we're amazed. They were absolutely fantastic! Our server Vince was so attentive, polite & catered to our every whim! Thank you for a great evening!

We had our big family get together yesterdar. Rosie, our server was very attentive & accommodating. We ordered a variety of dishes to be shared by all. Rosie made sure everyone had a share & no one was lacking.
Rosie being italian made me feel like a part of her family.
She took the time to chitty-chat. She shared her family life & I share my similar family life.

Rosie made my evening.

Laval's brunch better choice & larger than decarie, its a pay-o-vino at decarie, its ok that they serve some of the food which is good, & fresh but you need to ask for more portions,would be better if brunch would be byow

We have often gone to Portovino for dinner, but this time we needed a venue for brunch for a special event. Not only did the manager accommodate us, but she went above & beyond. The staff were extremely friendly & professional. Not to mention the perfect venue, the food? DELICIOUS ! From fresh made omelettes, to salads & pastas, pastries & fruit, & a chocolate fountain, this brunch was outstanding! All our guests were raving! Amy, Rosie & Vince, you made our brunch a beautiful, successful event! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Can't wait to go back to Portovino for a nice relaxing dinner.
