This restaurant is highly rated in the middle eastern community in Montreal & to me as an old Montreal citizen & gladly now consider myself a true Floridian never to regret leaving Montreal I thought this restaurant now reflects all what is wrong with Quebec .compared to what we have in south Florida now great dining experiences with great quality middle eastern food & al overall dining ,la sirène atmosphere is very nice but the food quantity & pricing is frankly bad. Compared to the USA middle eastern experience.the bill even with the sadly bad exchange rate is exorbitant & shameful the fish that is there pride was tasteless & with no sauces nor sides. The bill was exorbitant & add to that the ridiculous sale tax & the tip also is expected to be added to this ridiculous price makes it a painful dining Experience even for the well off client.sadly montreal is loosing its old reputation of a good nice affordable dining experience to mediocre painful super expensive & unattractive city to dine at .sorry Montreal 🥲🥲🥲🥲 & as a critical snd consumer very friendly reviewer I rate this place 4 for atmosphere but overall a 1 star for value for your money .

Excellent food! Went there for my birthday with my family. Had a feast...fattoush salad, hummus, oysters, salmon tartare, cod, filet mignon brochettes & coffee/dessert. Great service. A bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommended!

'At La Sirène you're Family' ( from website) - unfortunately we felt like the red headed stepchildren right out of the gate .
'Set sail for an unequalled gastronomic adventure' - It felt like our vessel sprung a leak very early in the voyage .
The food itself lived up to the expectation completely , it's the service that fell beyond short . One could see most of what appeared to be'regulars' were being treated with Mediterranean warmth . Why we felt like the white folks from the West Island I couldn't understand .

Quelle magnifique découverte dans Mont-Royal. Tout était absolument délicieux & préparé avec un soin évident.

La présentation des assiettes est superbe, particulièrement les pâtes servies dans ces grandes assiettes noires qui donnent une touche élégante à chaque plat. Les frites étaient parfaitement croustillantes & les desserts généreusement garnis de pistaches étaient une vraie gourmandise.

Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un repas savoureux dans une belle ambiance. Nous avons passé un excellent moment & nous reviendrons très bientôt avec plaisir.
