Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe bold, flavorful Haitian dishes with standout items like oxtail, griot, joumou and L'Haitien that deliver rich taste and satisfying textures, though some plates are noted as smaller than expected and the absence of sauce on the platter is lamented. The setting is a fast, busy food court with quick service and a lively, sometimes loud atmosphere, and a few comments mention unfriendly staff. Taken together, the food is considered delicious and worth trying for Haitian cuisine enthusiasts, with fresh ingredients and a strong sense of authenticity.

A little disappointed with my experience here, I am very familiar with Haitian food
& whoever made the riz djon djon was definitely not Haitian. It did not even have that' Haitian djon djon taste at all. & the rice was a little too black.
The goat was OK,
SECONDLY , what they called'jerk chicken' was really not that, what they served was fried chicken with a sauce on the side, which they called jerk & it was nothing like jerk sauce to be honest the sauce was terrible & I'm usually not picky with sauces. So basically the Haitian rice is not really Haitian rice. The jerk chicken is not jerk chicken so it seems like nothing is authentic in this restaurant. I'm curious to know where the chef is from. The fried chicken was tasty, but they should not call it'jerk chicken.'
This is false advertisement & misleading.

Excellent portion size. Nice & juicy pieces of griot which don't have any fat attached. Very fresh plantain & pikliz. Side of accra is a great addition.

Only drawback compared to a typical casse-croûte is that they don't serve sauce with the platter.

Great quality for the price!

I don't understand why they don't offer sauces with their food. The food is dry & needs sauce. Please give us some sauce! Thank you.

The food court itself has a fantastic vibe-an open kitchen concept with great energy & tasteful decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. I was thrilled to see a Haitian spot among the options & couldn't wait to try it out. I ordered the "L'Haitienne" plate, & overall, it did not disappoint. The griot was excellent-tender, fresh, & packed with authentic Haitian flavor. The pikliz added the perfect tangy kick, & the plate also included accras & plantains, both of which were well-prepared & delicious. The rice was decent, though not a standout, & the plate didn't initially come with sauce. However, when we requested some, the staff kindly provided it at no extra cost, & it turned out to be absolutely delicious, tying all the flavors together. The service was just okay-not bad, but nothing remarkable. Still, the food & the vibrant setting made up for it. If you're in the mood for authentic Haitian food, this spot is worth checking out!

Belle présentation, service rapide & très bon goût. Par contre, j'ai reçu le porc à température ambiante & vous ne recevez pas la sauce à côté, elle est mise dans le plat directement & il y a en a pas assez à mon goût.
