I ordered L'Haitien. I've never eaten Haitian food before (I'm from Australia) & I was delighted by the dish. The delicious pork came with rice & beans, a spicy coleslaw, & other delicious accoutrements that I didn't recognise. The service is not particularly friendly, as others have mentioned, but it's a food court & the food came out quickly. Yum yum yum!

I already adore Haitian food, so I had high hopes for this place & thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. The griot was so flavourful & the rice was delicious.

Chef Paul Toussaint is definitely a must go if you're in downtown Montreal.

The food court itself has a fantastic vibe-an open kitchen concept with great energy & tasteful decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. I was thrilled to see a Haitian spot among the options & couldn't wait to try it out. I ordered the "L'Haitienne" plate, & overall, it did not disappoint. The griot was excellent-tender, fresh, & packed with authentic Haitian flavor. The pikliz added the perfect tangy kick, & the plate also included accras & plantains, both of which were well-prepared & delicious. The rice was decent, though not a standout, & the plate didn't initially come with sauce. However, when we requested some, the staff kindly provided it at no extra cost, & it turned out to be absolutely delicious, tying all the flavors together. The service was just okay-not bad, but nothing remarkable. Still, the food & the vibrant setting made up for it. If you're in the mood for authentic Haitian food, this spot is worth checking out!

Fabulous place for Caribbean & Haitian cuisine. Located in the bustling Time Out Market, it's a popular choice. We had our favorites, jerk chicken & rum oxtail. Both were huge portions, with delicious peas & rice & crispy plantains. The ultimate was meeting & being served by the Chef himself, Chef Paul Toussaint. His kind hospitality & generous juice offering will be remembered. Amazing experience, great food, fun ambience in downtown Montreal.

The food was delicious! I have never tried Haitian/ Caribbean food but it was definitely amazing. I ordered this dish called " le haitien" which was pork, rice & beans. The service was not very impressive, when I asked the staff if he could recommend me some dish, he seemed to be impatient though.

Loved the ceviche & the plantain fries. Signature dish was delicious. We discovered tasty haitian cuisine. Great recommandations by the staff. I will return.

Got the griot - the meat had a great texture to it. That's about all the positives that I can say about the plate. The rice was absurdly salty - it just wasn't enjoyable.

Good haitian food in Montreal exists, but this certainly isn't it.
