The food is always excellent & the atmosphere is great. Many great hall staffs, but very disappointed that there were some very poor service staffs. Despite the great food... I strongly wish they were more professional in that field.
We had not been there in at least a decade & it turned out to be as great as we'd remembered it. Good food, great service. Our server was especially attentive, she sensed that we would have liked a quieter area & as soon as a table opens up she offered to move us there without us asking. Great night, recommend highly.

Their wine list is notably impressive, featuring exciting finds from Languedoc. The courteous service adds to the experience, although the small size of the dining area can lead to a noisy environment. Despite some minor setbacks, it's a Montreal institution well worth revisiting, especially with friends.
We had dinner here last night - maybe one of the best meals I've had anywhere in the world! The service was impeccable, timing of delivery of wine, starters, mains, all perfect. The food itself was to a plate outstanding, we had a wide variety, including the fish, oysters, pork, steak, pasta with truffles; everything was perfectly done. Wine list is extensive as well. Cannot find a single thing to say about our experience other than flawless.
Had a wonderful evening at this restaurant for my fiancée's birthday. For starters, we had the grilled octopus & the scallop crudo. For mains, we had the venison & the beef striploin. Both were cooked to perfection. Finally, for dessert, we had the praline & the bread pudding. I have to say everything was succulent & our expectations were met. All the waiters were exceptional & the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended & will definitely go back!
Extremely cozy, quiet & beautiful restaurant. The menu is perfectly crafted & is constantly being adapted. The food & flavours were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience & would definitely recommend eating here to anyone. The waiters & waitresses were extremely friendly & very knowledgeable when explaining the different menu options. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Every meal was presented perfectly & offered a variety of different ingredients. Definitely a great place for anyone who enjoys high quality food options.
Quelle expérience! Tout était excellent. Le risotto au cochonnet braisé & foie gras, wow! Les huîtres, etc. Tout était merveilleux. Le service sympathique, professionnel sans prétention, les suggestions du sommelier étaient remarquables. Bref, pour souligner une grande occasion ou se faire plaisir. Vraiment une belle soirée.
Expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle dans ce restaurant. Jean Francois, notre serveur, a offert un service impeccable, veillant à ce que nous soyons bien pris en charge. L'ambiance chaleureuse & le décor raffiné ont ajouté au charme général. La cuisine succulente, associée à une délicieuse sélection de vins a rehaussé l'expérience culinaire. The food was absolutely delicious. I am pregnant & they were very accommodating. They had Cantillon on their beer menu, which my husband was VERY excited about. Overall a great experience & I hope to return on my next visit.
I chose Duck Magret for main course which was great, the duck meat was cooked to perfection. Raw oysters were better than the grilled one, octopus was really delicious. Staffs was ok not really friendly & professional. Still highly recommended when you're in the Old Montreal area.
Amazing experience ! We went with my family & had the best time ! Jean-Francois, our waiter, was amazing ! The experience from the seating to the dessert was flawless. The food exquisite! The team came to our table to offer us a drink at the end of our meal. What a treat ! Definitely one (if not the best) of the best restaurant in Montreal

Serveur Gabriel est un excellent serveur! Très professional & amical à la fois!! Après deux ans de Covid nous étions impatient de revenir a notre restaurant préféré que se soit au niveau du service ou de la nourriture nous sommes retombées en amour avec cet endroit!! 😘
Nourriture servie avant le vin. Ris de veau beaucoup, beaucoup trop salé. Bref, très moyen pour le prix.
