The atmosphere is lively during dinner & has a really nice dark walls/leather chairs vibe. The food is out of this world, we loved the aged meat (with copious truffles), delicious desserts & huge wine selection. I really recommend this for a special occasion or when you want to make someone feel special.
Really good food, lots of selection. Good service from beginning to the end. However I felt rushed to leave the place as they had to turn over tables. Would go back.
I've dined here many times & will be back again - perfect for a family gathering (less than 8 people) or romantic date. The food is incredible, we had the duck & wagyu beef which were both perfection. The wines were stellar, perfectly matched with our food. The service is top, very on point but also personable which makes you feel comfortable & relaxed.
It was my second time at this restaurant, & I was never disappointed!
The only bad thing about eating here is deciding what to eat as everything on the menu sounds delicious! Wine selection is great as well.

Is it always this noisy? Maybe it's my old age... for sure, because of this, I will not return.... It's a pity because the wine list is well curated & the dishes I selected were delicious. At least the trout which was absolutely stunning as a main course. The appetiser however, I can not remember...For sure, alone at my table, people watching is bar none. Beautiful staff, beautiful guests & I am happily married. Very happily married... If you want to party, this might be the place to open the evening when you have somewhere else to go to afterwards. If you want to go alone or on a date, forget it. It is way too noisy & distracting. Sorry team Chasse & Pêche, you are amazing. But, really, I am being honest, or too old for you, even in my middle age...
We have been going back to Chasse & Pêche for many years now, including our wedding anniversaries & our Christmas work parties. We have NEVER been disappointed. Their risotto foie gras is a must try that keeps us coming back for more... paired with amazing service & intimate setting to are guaranteed a memorable experience.
What a lovely cozy fine dining spot in old port of Montreal. The foie gras risotto was amazing 🤩. I enjoyed the duck which was good. My favourite was the dessert, an chocolate eclair with caramel, fresh cream, ice cream & cookie crumble. I have never tasted anything this delicious. 😋 Overall will come back! Thank you

Un côté restaurant caché en rez-de-chaussée enterrée. Une ambiance feutrée, mais chaleureuse. Une cuisine inventive & originale, autour des produits du Québec & d'ailleurs. & Andrea pour nous servir & nous conseiller avec délice & malice. Nous avons été dotés.
