Perfect intimate date night spot! Me & my boyfriend went to Kyo on a Sunday night with a reservation at around 9. The wait was pretty short as they prepped a table, & the waitress was very energetic & kind. We ordered the karaage & beef sashimi which blew our minds! They were flavourful & had good portion sizes for sharing. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't anything special. We had the Haru & Snake rolls which tasted okay. The ingredients tasted fresh but the flavour was alright compared to the appetizers. If you are planning to visit, I would definitely encourage you to try a more sophisticated roll than these - I can promise that the ingredients & preparation are great! The drink we chose was the matcha cocktail & it was delicious. I recommend this place for a cute dinner date with loved ones since they have amazing shareables & an ambient atmosphere!

I'm in love with this little Japanese gem. I had the salmon poke bowl & I was thrilled with the amount of fresh veg, fruit, & salmon it included. The server was knowledgeable about gluten free options & I am confident it was prepared safely. Service was prompt, friendly & professional. The ambience is quaint, unique, & modern. I would say the establishment is not accessible for those needing mobility devices.
This was a really great place with the tastiest miso soup, freshest tuna poke, & really well made rolls. The chocolate matcha bread pudding was perfection!!
This place is a must eat when in Montreal. The sushi is so fresh. Make sure to make a reservation because I couldn't get in my first night here. I sat at the bar & was well taken care of. The sushi is top notch. I especially liked the beef tartare, so flavorful. Make sure to check this place out when in Montreal.

Sushi was fresh. The place is in a tourist area with lots of traffic. The restaurant is tailored for high traffic. Do not order any deviation from the menu since it will be prepared incorrectly. Otherwise this sushi restaurant is fine.
This restaurant is a great place & I strongly recommend it. The food is unusual & fresh. The service was excellent. The servers were available if needed without hovering. In fact, they made a point of making us happy. The atmosphere is charming. This is a must go to restaurant!!
Delicious & fresh food, amazing desserts!! waitresses are kind & helpful, love the atmosphere for date night. The only disappointment was the oysters wasn't opened & cleaned properly I kept eating the shell pieces 🥲 vinaigrette was bomb tho!
After having had such a large breakfast & lunch, we wanted something light for the evening. Sushi sounded great & we found this place just around the corner from our hotel. They fit us in on a busy night. Great atmosphere & an excellent waitress. Of course, we ordered several dishes: - Nigiri: sea bass, mackerel, salmon, albacore tuna, red tuna, yellowfin tuna, scallop - Signature roll: rainbow - shrimp tempura, tuna, salmon, albacore, hamachi, avocado - Chicken gyoza: pan-fried chicken or pork dumplings, sweet chili shoyu, truffle oil, green onion We really enjoyed all the dishes: excellent fresh sushi, perfect Gyoza & the "Rainbow" rolls were very tasty. Went during the Happening Gourmand event in order to be able to try different things on the menu. Good experience overall. Was a little bit disappointed when it comes to sushi as they weren't as fresh & tasty as I was expecting. Will give them another try maybe 🤔
What an excellent Japanese restaurant. I was extremely surprised with the level of quality of their food. The atmosphere & service was excellent, big shoutout to our server Juena, she was great! Highly recommend the chefs assorted maki. All the food options are meticulously plated & always fresh. Will definitely visit again!
If you're looking for excellent sushi in old Montreal, look no further. Food tasted fresh & flavourful. Atmosphere is very fancy. Great sit down for a date.
