La cuisine est globalement saluée pour son authenticité et ses textures soignées, avec des gnocchi, tortellini et ravioli souvent loués pour leur cuisson, et des antipasti comme bruschetta et arancini qui reviennent comme des incontournables; burrata et tiramisu ou cannoli reçoivent aussi des eloges, même si certains plats manquent parfois d'assaisonnement ou paraissent un peu chers. Le cadre est prisé pour des repas romantiques, entre amis ou des occasions festives, mais le volume sonore peut être élevé lors des soirs bondés et quelques plats peuvent arriver tièdes ou trop salés. Loved everything about this place! Excellent food (the gnocchi were WOW & the burrata was so fresh) & cocktails (I recommend the Pear Pressure!). Great service & beautiful decor. Can't wait to be back!
My sister & I went to this amazing spot because its menu looked delicious & the restaurant was nicely lit & had a very fun playlist. We had limited time & let our server know. We had the sweetest server, Megan, who recommended cocktails that were spectacular. Our food came quickly & we had the bruschetta & the eggplant parmesan & both were so fresh, light & delicious. We were sad not to have eaten a full meal here....so we changed plans & returned the next night! Our server was, Malo, & he was lovely as well...knowledgeable & professional. We had the bruschetta, again(!) & split a Caesar salad that was excellent! For entrées I had the cavatelli pesto & my sister had the agnoletti caccio. Both were divine. & the cocktails! We had a coco fresa, a fresco azure & an aranchiata marguerita. We think this restaurant is exceptional because of Mégane & Malo, the food & the ambiance!

Vous mangerez de délicieux plâts, peu importe votre choix, tant la qualité & la saveur seront au rendez-vous. J'aime particulièrement la variété offerte au niveau des entrées: ça donne l'occasion d'en commander plusieurs afin de les partager & de toutes les goûter. Les pâtes sont absolument exquises, les gnocchis & les tortollinis étant mes préférées. Assurez-vous de garder de la place pour le déssert, le budino au limoncello & aux pistaches est renversant. Gâtez-vous avec un petit digestif ou un savoureux café italien, & vous serez comblés. La dinette Marcella est sans conteste un restaurant incontournable de la scène culinaire de Montréal.
I wanted a cocktail that wasn't on the menu anymore & they were nice enough to make it for me anyway. The waitress was very nice! The atmosphere was warm & agreeable. The pasta was al dente & delicious. The Bruschetta was delicious. I just wish they didn't put capers in it.
Yet another amazing dinner at Dinette Marcella. We sat at the bar, giving us an opportunity to try some amazing cocktails while chatting with the bartender. The food was outstanding, especially the creamy mushroom gnocchi. This is my second time visiting Marcella while on holiday in Montreal. I look forward to coming back again soon.

Un des très bon carpaccio de boeuf que j'ai mangé dans ma vie! Raviolis aux homards étaient délicieux & le cocktail excellent! Micheal a été très sympa avec nous, très bon service en général!
Very Nice restaurant in the old port area. The staff was really nice & welcoming. Great service. The restaurant is nice & well decorated. Cocktails were amazing & we enjoyed the food as well (we both had pasta).
The food was delectable the polpette entree comes with a Parmesan chip that melts in your mouth. The chefs special was incredible. The mozzarella sticks were mouthwatering. The ambiance is great good music. The staff was incredibly accommodating we ate here as a party of 20 & they did everything to accommodate us all for my aunts 50th birthday. The cocktails are really delicious too. The Pear Pressure is pretty cool comes with some pizzazz. I 100% recommend going. The tiramisu was really good I liked the little surprise chocolate chips in it. The cannolis were incredible the filling was the perfect amount of sweetness for me & the pastry was nice & crunchy.
We went to Marcella on a celebratory trip. Our waiter Michael was very kind & provided us with great service as well as many recommendations for other bars in the area. Burratta & cocktails were amazing. Would recommend & definitely come back when in the area again!

We both tried the carbonara, & the cocktail of the day. I also had an espresso martini that was very well made
The carbonara on the other hand was good, but not great admittedly. There was an unusual thickness to it, & a bitter after taste. I am quite knowledgable on a good carbonara, & this was not amongst the best I have had. It was serviceable.
The staff on the other hand were very polite & eager to serve. We wintessed a customer complaining about a reservation & being a complete brat, totally unacceptable behaviour from the customer. The staff were able to handle the rude person perfectly. I felt bad for the staff. People need to be nicer & not entitled brats.
Dinette Marcella is definitely a must in this foodie city! From the quality & freshness of the food to the exceptional service, I HIGHLY recommend it. Cocktails were truly amazing & my sun said he had the BEST Shirley Temple EVER! Open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner, which BTW is very uncommon these days, your sure to have an amazing experience.
