The vibe in the place is very good. Like other reviews said, it is loud, but you can have a very nice conversation without having to scream.
J'ai adoré l'ambiance & le service, la cuisine était très bonne. En plus le restaurant est bien situé. Par contre les prix sont un peu chère.
Service 5, ambiance 5, food 3.
Don't order the bucatini vongole. Shells came broken, gritty sand, salty as sin, almost inedible.
Everything else was nice except for the bathroom. Hopefully they read this & rethink this dish.
Très bon restaurant italien, nous avions une bonne place à côté de la fenêtre. Les repas étaient vraiment bon.
We reserved there as a group of 8.
We started with drinks & all of them were good. The mocktails were also excellent.
For the appetizer the eggplant was a generous portion & absolutely fantastic!
My negative if the main, the agnolotti were so so so salty, could not even finish half of the plate as it was extremely salty. I could've said something as it seems to be the type of restaurant open to feedback but our server didn't ask how the food was throughout the meal. Otherwise ambiance & decor is great!
Everything tasted great! This is a must visit restaurant in downtown Montreal.
Everything was wonderful, particularly our server Isabella. She was so friendly & engaging! The food was delicious & atmosphere was really neat. There was no A/C on, but luckily the weather was pleasant for an early July evening & the windows were open.
The first thing that caught my attention was the Pistachio Martini. It sounded like a bold & creative concept, & as someone who appreciates well-crafted cocktails, I was genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, it ended up being the biggest disappointment of my visit.
Creating a pistachio-forward martini is an ambitious idea, but from a flavor engineering perspective, the recipe felt underdeveloped. The cocktail lacked a clear identity, & the intended flavor notes failed to express themselves in a cohesive way. Instead of a layered, balanced profile, the drink came across as flat & without a distinct character. There was plenty of potential in the concept, but the execution simply didn't deliver.
On the food side, the calamari was excellent. It was cooked with precision-light, crisp, & perfectly tender without any chewiness. The batter was delicate, allowing the quality of the seafood to shine, & the accompanying flavors were well-balanced. It was easily the highlight of the meal.
The interior design, atmosphere, & overall vibe are exceptional & create one of the most beautiful dining environments in Old Montreal.
