We chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary based on its reviews, but unfortunately it didn't live up to them...

I ordered the Carbonara Di Spaghettini & found maybe two or three small pieces of pancetta in the entire dish (see the attached photo). I dug through the pasta looking for more. I would have flagged it to our server, but she didn't check on us until we'd nearly finished eating.

One smaller thing: for a restaurant billed as Italian, the soundtrack was American rock, which made the room feel like a different place than the menu suggested. Very weird.

We'd suggest looking elsewhere for a nice Italian dinner.

The dishes here are homemade pasta, the Calamari is excellently prepared, Focaccia is soft. Drinks were amazing. The Angolotti caccio e pepe is memorable. One of the best meals we had in Montreal.
