Attentive staff, flavourful food & oh the chocolate mousse was the perfect dessert not too heavy just right --- chocolatey goodness. My filet mignon was spot on, the loaded baked patato yummy!! *edit they no longer make chocolate mousse which is shame because as I mentioned it was the perfect dessert very light yet rich tasting* *edit #2 Every year my mum & I celebrate my birthday at Baton Rouge, it's become a tradition over the years & this year was no different. Why do we always choose this restaurant? The answer is simple excellent service, scrumptious food - the spinach artichoke dip & chips is outta this world, filet mignon cooked to perfection, ribs done just right, garlic mashed potatoes so creamy with just the right amount of garlic, loaded patato - yes please. & the brownie with ice cream- delish. *pics were taken after we started eating, & I gave my mum the veggies from my plate too* *edit #3 celebrated my bday today like years before service was great. My filet mignon wasn't cooked to my liking I asked for medium rare but got well done, they happily replaced it. Our food was fantastic, we shared a ceasar salad & garlic bread if you haven't tried the garlic bread I recommend you do - delicious. Our main meals were also very tasty. I should note I do take out as well from here & am always very satisfied with the quality of food & service.

Food was great, steak done exactly how I wanted, server did not give me the chimichurri sauce instead was pepper corn sauce. Otherwise better selection, plate fullness & superb service compared to other steak houses that charge extra for all the sides. Dessert was a black forest cake but it was not the greatest I have tasted. Missing chocolate flavour & did not seem like a black forest cake. I would have them go back to the original recipe for this cake.

The service was great but I have to say this is probably the 1st time that the food just wasn't up to par. We had lobster pasta (mulfada, i think it was called). It was just warm, should've been hot when served. Not very tasty. We definitely needed parm cheese & pepper. We had shared cheesecake for dessert. That was delicious but was pretty disappointed with the lobster pasta. Definite lack of flavor. Sorry.

Went to this location for a birthday dinner. Within 20 minutes of our appetiser arriving we had dealt with a rude waiter who was unhappy with our plate stacking & made a comment that we shouldn't help because we dropped a slice of lemon on the floor. Food quality was ok but in my honest opinion it was way over priced for what we had. Dinner for 4 adults & a child, 1 shared appetiser, no wine, no coffee, no dessert, came up to over 325$. They did surprise the birthday boy with a free brownie & candle which was nice & not requested.

You have a beautiful surf & turf seafood tower but you guys should have the same for dessert! Then, I'll consider rating this 5 stars ⭐️

The French fries were way too salty & the size of the desserts for the price was very small... if the portion was huge, the $13 for the Black Forest COULD be somewhat justified. Very disappointing

Our server was amazing. We celebrated a birthday (with birthday hats etc) ... & she took the initiative of bringing the birthday girl a complimentary dessert with sparkler!

I am very disappointed in that when I had made & written in my reservation that I was celebrating my 14th wedding anniversary on that date there was no mention of it from anyone from the restaurant staff, even at the reception when we walked in..The next time I will go to the Keg for the same meal choice (Prime Rib) for our next special occasion where the Keg ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGES the occasion by the staff & in addition they always offer a complimentary dessert to mark the occasion..so in others words..... we will not be back.

We were a group of 4 ladies who looked forward to getting together & chatting. All was good until after dessert & coffee the waiter came over & cleared the hole table like hurry up it is time to go. There was no line up of people waiting for tables & a lot of empty tables so didn't feel the need to rush us out.

waited too long after finishing main course for plates to be cleared, then ordering dessert took a long time, receiving dessert took a long time & waiting for bill (had to ask for it twice) took a long time- waitress was overwhelmed

Great place!
Love the simple fact the ambiance/music is so perfectly adjusted you can talk calmy & not spend the whole time SHOUTING in your attempt to get properly heard.
Delicious steak, wine & dessert last night.
Friendly service!
I'll stop by again very soon.

Delicious food & excellent service. Server was welcoming, attentive & accommodating even though we did not all arrive at the same time & even when we split one dessert 4 ways.

Pour avoir été à plusieurs reprises à divers emplacements dont ceux du centre-ville, celui aux galeries d'Anjou & au Marché Central je dois avouer que ce Bâton Rouge à la particularité d'offrir un ambiance plus intime que les autres & un service plus attentionné malgré l'achalandage. De plus, le personnel est très attentionné notre serveuse à été patiente & sympathique nous recommandant une bonne bouteille de vin. On a pût faire personnaliser nos plats les entrées sont délicieuses & les plats principaux le sont encore plus de quoi nourrir un ours qui sort de son hibernation ma fois on s'est passé du dessert! On a adoré l’atmosphère générale les l'éclairage & la patience du staff qui ne nous mettait aucune pression. Je considère le prix raisonnable pour la qualité de la nourriture & du service 150$ pour 2 personnes incluant le pourboire, 2 entrées des plats principaux avec ajouts de brochette & une bouteille de vin maison. J'y retournerais très bientôt.
