An interesting concept bar with spectacular service. The drinks are hit & miss, with some gems & some duds. This is a sherry & vermouth bar, so be prepared for lighter alcohol levels & some funky flavors. It has promise, but needs some tweaking with the cocktail menu. Also, the stairwell mirror one bad fall away from disaster...
Cute basement bar with very good vibes, creative & super tasty drinks. The waiter we had was beyond kind - allowing us to sample & explain the choices prior to ordering their Sherry.

Bar très cosy, où nous avons pu siroter nos cocktails entre amis. Le serveur William est très agréable & de bons conseils sur nos choix de boissons. Les cocktails sont très bons & raffinés. Nous avons apprécié passé un moment dans ce lieu, nous reviendrons.
Bisou bisou was an amazing experience. Our bartender Yousef was friendly & knowledgeable & truly made the experience worth it! He helped guide us to choosing the right cocktail that we were feeling & they were some of the best cocktails we've ever had. Would recommend to anyone in the area!
If you want to be transported to Europe without exchanging air miles welcome to the best bar in old Montreal. Incredible cocktails, natural wine, & snacks that make you feel like you're meandering Barcelona. Bisou is a must for your visit to Montreal.
I have just had the most fantastic cocktail made by the owner of this bar when he was in Mexico City at Limantour. As a Negroni drinker, I've always dreamed of having a Negroni that had a slightly more subtle approach to the palette. This drink delivered on all of my desires & dreams. I can't wait to get to Montreal to visit this bar in person because the owner was terrific & made cocktails to match.
The only thing you regret in this place is that you can't drink everything they offer. I liked that their cocktails are author's, the guys on the bar are real professionals, they know how to give you an unforgettable drink. Highly recommend this place

Incredible menu. Cocktails beat expectation. Staff is great. Awesome vibe. Very special shout out to Yousef. This gentleman is in contention for the most talented bartender to grace the North American continent. This is not hyperbole. Not only did he make us the best cocktails of our trip, but he provided some excellent recommendations in the city & added to our weekend in a very special way. This is a must visit bar in Montreal & I say that because Yousef works here.
So we initially wanted to go to the cold room but the wait list was 30 min in -20°C so the hostess told us about Bisou Bisou being a sister bar that we could wait while they texted us to let us in. Super cozy vibe, really interesting drinks. We ended up staying at Bisou Bisou as we had more room to drink & chat.

Wonderful experience chez Bisou Bisou. Alex impressed us all behind the bar & Yousef's extensive knowledge & recommendations were invaluable. Cold room isn't worth the wait with this gem right across the street. Atmosphere felt intimate but not exclusive. I recommend the'The Last Word' & they also make a delightful Espresso Martini. We didn't try the food but cocktails were exceptional. Overall extraordinary experience!!
Truly the one of the best cocktail bar experiences I've ever had. Alex & Yousef were extraordinary hosts who treated us to incredible cocktails & service despite an incredibly busy night. I'm hoping this review gets out to everyone who thinks Cold room is worth the wait. Right across the street you'll find the warm cozy & groovy atmosphere that you're looking for.
Great service, they were attentive & quick to our needs. The bartenders were very informed & professional & catered to our specific tastes with excellent recommendations. The titamisu shot was a great recommendation. We did not have food, but the cocktails were very refined. I got the Babylon Flip & the Petit Elephant, both of which were delicious. Pricey, but well worth it for the ambience & service. The venue is underground, similar vibe to a Speakeasy. I would go back anytime

Très bon bar à cocktail dans le vieux Montréal. Bien que ça soit une zone très touristique, ce bar est vraiment authentique & pas « attrape touriste ». Les serveurs sont vraiment accueillants & professionnels. On s'est régalé avec nos deux cocktails très frais. On a pris des olives & on était agréablement surpris de voir qu'il s'agissait de vraies bonnes olives.
Absolutely amazing bar - we went two nights in a row. The bartenders were very friendly & welcoming & the drinks were top-notch (especially the Babylon Flip).
Excellent cocktail bar in Old Montreal. With the first read of the menu, I wasn't really sure what to expect. But after I tried my first drink, I didn't need more convincing that this place knows what they're doing. They use sherries & vermouths in some of the best ways possible, to create unique, delicious & well-balanced drinks. The drinks, service & ambiance were all incredible & I will surely go back here the next time I find myself in Montreal!
