Hipster latino food featuring mainly arepa sandwiches. Bigger, & definitely more trendy that I expected with their awesome artsy portrait paintings.
My rating is very likely due to my mistake of ordering a black bean soup (filling me up with bloated heaviness, wasn't anything special) before my main meal could be enjoyed. I managed to consume of the argula salad (bitter) & maybe 2 bites of my arepa before calling it quits.
My other friends had a much better experience... ordering a variety from fancy cheeses to pulled pork to chicken, everyone loved their selections.
Also staff was very cool about doing separate checks to make it easier for us.
Anyways moral of story is don't eat a giant can of black beans before your entree if you want to have a good time.
I have loved this place over the years but it's become too expensive for an Arepa for me. $18 before tip for only the sandwhich.
Lovely place, delicious food, cheap prices, many options, especially for people with dietary restrictions. They seem to have built their menu around people who cannot consume gluten, but it doesn't taste like it at all. I tried this place out to bring my celiac brother. Very satisfied & looking forward to having him feel included when going out to eat. Good for vegans, vegetarians & picky eaters ! There are also many meat options :)
Estaban ricas pero en un plato nos salió barro en los vegetales que acompanaban una arepa 😱😱😱
The food was tasty, but there was dirt in one of the dishes 😱😱😱
Wonderful find in Montreal. Being gluten free it's always great to find a restaurant where I can eat everything on the menu. If you're not gluten free don't let this be a deterrent to going, you would never know anything was gluten free.
Great food at a good price!
We waited a little bit for our food but a big group arrived just before us so it wasn't too bad.
The food was delicious!
Service très long
Pas d'accueil
Ils discutent au lieu de me préparer ma commande
Want to discover Venezuelan cuisine? This is your restaurant. Super friendly restaurant with open kitchen concept. Lots of space to gather & chill with great Arepas & traditional platters.
Strongly recommend a detou
I've never had arepas before so i have nothing to compare it to. But i found it very delicious! They are very generous with the stuffing!
The cocktails are also reallyyyyy good!
Plantanos con queso were excellent. Great pairing of the salty cheese with the sweet plantains. The empanadas were also delicious. We chose the pork & it was very nicely flavored. The arepas were delicious, very good portion. Margaritas were also quite tasty. We would definitely visit again. So nice to have a totally gluten free restaurant.
Muy rica toda la comida, preciosa muy asequibles y con gran ambiente
