Une expérience incroyable! Tout le monde devrais y allez au moins une fois. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir & le service était très bien. Nous avons pris le menu mystère & j'ai eu du boeuf braisé (délicieux d'ailleurs) & ma bestie a eu le saumon. Par contre, petit point à améliorer, lorsqu'on a fini nos plats & qu'on était prête a quitter, nous nous sommes retrouvé a attendre un bon moment avant que la serveuse puisse se libérer pour venir nous'chercher'. Étant donné que nous sommes plongée dans le noir, nous avons besoin de la serveuse pour sortir de la salle. Évidemment ce n'était pas la faute de la serveuse, mais je crois qu'il serait plus optimale s'il y avait eu plus d'employés? Nous avons dû l'appeler a quelque reprise puisqu'elle était occupé a servire d'autre table. Je vous dirais qu'à la fin, j'avais vraiment hâte de sortir.
Une fois sorti elle nous a demandé de deviner nos plats (repas, breuvage & dessert). J'ai beaucoup aimé l'aspect jeu. Le lieu est beau & propre (avant de rentrer dans la salle a manger).

A totally unique experience. I got surprises for every course so I really didn't know what i was getting into, & all the food was surprisingly delicious & easy to eat without sight. However I can't recommend anything since the surprises are off menu. They seem to have designed the dishes well for eating in the dark. Not being able to see made me appreciate the smells/textures much more & the dishes were designed to have a lot of variety! Our waitress Sophia was clear & helpful & has a calming presence which is great when you are slightly unsettled in the dark. I recommend you try it once - it is interesting what your expereince of the dark will be. I didn't mind it much at all & found it pretty easy to eat. We were against a wall which i liked - it helped ground me. If we were in the middle of the room I think i would have felt a little more on edge.
The food is very good but the experience of eating in the dark is the differentiator, esp when you pick the surprise options on the menu & you have to figure it out through taste aroma texture! Gave up on using my knife halfway. Very happy to see that folks with visual impairments have gainful employment here. Our waitstaff sophia was very professional & clear in her instructions in how to seat ourselves & find items around us (or her, to lead us in & out).
J'ai vraiment aimé cette expérience. Tout commence en prenant notre commande dans la claireté & ensuite ont ce rend au 2e pour ce rendre dans une salle complètement dans l'obscurité! (Vraiment impossible de voir une source de lumière) Au fil de l'excellent repas, nous nous sommes habitués a notre environnement tout en ayant du fun! Je recommande vivement l'expérience avec un groupe pour vivre un repas comme un aveugle!🍽

Franchement, si vous hésitiez à essayer l'expérience… je vous la recommande fortement! Excellent service à la clientèle, toute l'équipe est gentille & agréable avec une bonne pointe d'humour. Si vous comptez y aller entre amoureux c'est parfait.
Même si vous ne voyez pas vos plats, je vous assure qu'ils sont délicieux & je vous recommande les plats surprises! Vous ne sortirez pas déçu de la cuisine & encore moins affamé. Ils sont généreux sur l'assiette également!
Quant à l'expérience sensorielle d'être plongé dans le noir… je vous assure que ce n'est pas du bluff, vous ne voyez absolument rien même en vous concentrant. Au début, c'est stressant & perturbant mais une fois habitué après 5 minutes, cela vous fera du bien & vous fera vivre de nouvelles sensations.
Such a calming atmosphere. I recommend going on a day when the restaurant is less busy, as that will increase the peacefulness of the experience. I will definitely be back.

This was an amazing experience! Firstly our server, Mizen, was the best. I can't imagine serving food & drinks in the complete darkness. Initially I was a little apprehensive walking into the blackness, but it was actually pretty cool. The room was quite quiet, just other patrons who were quietly speaking to each other, & some light music. Food was delicious. I had the scallops appetizer & a steak. Not gonna lie, I ended up eating with my fingers. I made a valiant effort to use a knife & fork but just couldn't make it work. This is a very unique experience & I highly recommend it. On avait choisi ce restaurant avec un copain sans savoir sa particularité !
& donc la surprise a été géniale.
Le personnel au top au petits soins & d'une gentillesse énorme , le repas a été super bon (le fait de ne pas voir ce que l'on mange boost le goût) mais tout petit bémol pour l'ambiance: certaines personnes parlent très fort ( certainement un genre de stress-de stress) même si une personne du restaurant demanda un peu moins de son.
Conclusion: du bonheur & une belle leçon de sagesse

It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The service is excellent, & the staff ensure that everything is clearly explained throughout the evening. The experience is immersive & truly unique. The food was good, though relatively simple depending on the dishes selected or served. If you are looking for a place to have an in-depth conversation, this may not be the right setting, as the environment is designed to fully engage your senses.
First time I've been scammed in a restaurant!
I had a gift certificate (from la Forfaiterie) for 2 persons : 4 services & 1 cup of wine each. They told us that they didn't do 4 services anymore (which doesn't fit with the info on their website, but whatever) so instead they told us that we could have the equivalent of what has been paid for the gift certificate : 180$.
Thing is, it's not even enough for the equivalent, but with 3 services! I raised the fact that it didn't cover the taxes & the tips, but for them it was normal & they wouldn't budge.
In the end, I had to pay an additional 45$ for a lesser experience than what we were supposed to have.
About the experience, a few things
- The food was mediocre at best. Not the worse, but clearly not enough for the price point (& that's including the'no lights' settings into consideration).
- The temperature in the room was... weird. Initially it was fine, but near the end of our meal it started to get really REALLY cold. We rushed our dessert to get out ASAP.
- The noise level can get pretty intense. When we arrived (around 18h30) the noise level was okay, but about an hour later it got pretty loud. While it's not necessarily the restaurant's fault, it did impact our overall experience.
- The overall experience of eating in a pitch black setting is quite interesting!
In the end, while there's some value to the overall experience, it really doesn't justify the price point (>100$ per person). Then, there's our experience with the gift certificate that has been handled poorly.
