I think they should have an option to order the empanadas without anything in it. Because I didn't like any of their filling options. I especially didn't like the weird abuela spice they added to the frijoles filling I felt like I was eating a moldy couch. But I think if they take that weird spice out & keep it simply flavored it would be super good with frijoles negros. But the outside of the empanadas was really good they should keep doing what they're doing with that. Two stars because service was also hella slow even though it wasn't busy. There were only four other people in the restaurant 😕

This is my new favourite restaurant. Amazing vegan options which is hard to find when you're also gluten free. I come here once a week because I can't stop thinking about how good the food is.

I went last Tuesday for dinner with my brother & we had their areas. I had the roasted pork belly & a Paloma for a drink.

I had never tried one of these types of sandwiches before but it was AMAZINGLY good. The'bread' had a great corn flavor & the pork was delicious. Their verde & red hot sauce also tasted great!

The Paloma was good but I would've liked a hint more lime in it.

I am so sorry to the waiter for not tipping as it wasn't intentional & I did not realize until after the fact. We paid on 1 bill & I only saw it after I paid. When the waiter passed the machine to me, he accidentally tapped the screen during the tip option, so it disappeared & went straight to pay so I didn't see the % but figured whatever I'll just pay.

Only after looking at the receipt did I noticed no tips were left. I felt & still feel awful so hopefully next time I come back he's there & I can leave a bigger tip to make up for it. There was nothing wrong with the service! 🙏

I had such a great experience at Arepera & will definitely be coming back. As someone with celiac disease, it can be stressful finding places that are truly safe to eat at, but their 100% gluten-free menu made this such a relaxing & enjoyable visit. It's honestly rare to be able to order freely without second-guessing anything, & I really appreciated that.

The menu has a great variety of options, especially when it comes to arepas & empanadas. There were so many different flavor combinations to choose from, & everything sounded amazing. I also loved that they offer fresh juices, which added a really nice touch to the meal.

Everything we ordered came out quickly & at the perfect temperature. You could tell right away that the food was made fresh. I had the beef & cheddar cheese arepa, the cheese empanadas, a guava juice, & the coconut flan for dessert. Every single item was delicious, affordable, well-seasoned, fresh, & cooked perfectly. The arepa was especially satisfying & filling, & the flan was a great way to end the meal.

The service was also excellent. Our server was very polite, kind, & attentive, & gave some really helpful recommendations when we were deciding what to order. It made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.

Overall, this is a fantastic spot whether you're gluten-free or not. Highly recommend checking it out!

Absolutely brilliant food! So happy I finally made it here. A great selection of vegetarian/vegan options, everything was hot, crispy, spicy & delicious! & the best passionfruit juice. I'll definitely be back

Delicious gluten-free arepas! The flavors & textures are spot on. My favorite is the black bean, plantain, & avocado; teenager likes all the chicken ones. The green sauce is so good & the red one adds a nice fiery kick. Be sure to try the coconut flan!

Thankful to find a place that offers both gluten free & dairy free options, & that is delicious!

Food is awesome, service is fast, & prices are amazing. I always get an arepa when I come. I love that everything is gluten-free (as a gluten intolerant person) & that theyvhave options for omnivores, veggies & vegans. Therevare 4 vegan arepas. The plantains & yuka fries are also vegan. They have 1 vegan empenada & 1 vegan dessert (flan). Everything tastes good. It's not high end refined food, it's street food done right. Super filling & good value.
They have a kid's menu...yay! My daughter (3 yo) ate the whole lot, she loved it.
Atmosphere is alright, place is big & can accommodate many groups.
Staff is friendly, but to the point.
I would 100% recommend!
