This restaurant is 100% Gluten Free!! We came here because of a friend who needed this consideration, I was not sure what to expect but WOW, the food was amazing! We all had the handheld sandwiches that were delicious & filling, the plantine appetizer with chicken was amazing, the empinadas were good but very small & hard to share. The food pictures speak for themselves!! There was some available seating when we arrived around 7:45pm & we were 4 people & we were seated without a wait but I would suggest a reservation to avoid disappointment! Our water was very helpful, we let him know it was our first time there & he provided his recommendations & all were delicious! The desserts as well very excellent & my favorite was the Carmel Flan- same some room!! So as the location is 100% gluten free, so we're the beers, again a first for me & I would say, not the greatest, no head, the Blonde tasted like apple juice... I would not buy gluten free beers for my self again :)- no fault of the restaurant though, the ladies said their drinks were tasty & we would definitely come back. Cheers & enjoy
This is my new favourite restaurant. Amazing vegan options which is hard to find when you're also gluten free. I come here once a week because I can't stop thinking about how good the food is.

So good! The arepa Pabellón & the torta de chocolate were delicious, & the staff were all friendly & attentive. Since the entire menu is gluten free, we were able to just relax & order what looked good! Great experience.
Consistently delivers delicious bites & takes the stress out of eating gluten free! Vegetarian options are delicious as well. Be sure to taste their homemade sauces which will have you reaching for more.
Really enjoyed this spot as a gluten free visitor to MTL - plantain (amazing), casava sticks & pork belly sandwich, complimented with a shot of mezcal… can't ask for too much more than that

I highly recommend the Empanadas.
We also had the pork belly platter & the pork & avocado sandwich. Fed the 3 of nicely (though if another empanada was there I would have gladly taken it down.)
I had a guarapita & my sister had the non alcoholic cane sugar & lime, both were lovely. My nephew had water & they kept on top of filling up the water.
I had such a great experience at Arepera & will definitely be coming back. As someone with celiac disease, it can be stressful finding places that are truly safe to eat at, but their 100% gluten-free menu made this such a relaxing & enjoyable visit. It's honestly rare to be able to order freely without second-guessing anything, & I really appreciated that.
The menu has a great variety of options, especially when it comes to arepas & empanadas. There were so many different flavor combinations to choose from, & everything sounded amazing. I also loved that they offer fresh juices, which added a really nice touch to the meal.
Everything we ordered came out quickly & at the perfect temperature. You could tell right away that the food was made fresh. I had the beef & cheddar cheese arepa, the cheese empanadas, a guava juice, & the coconut flan for dessert. Every single item was delicious, affordable, well-seasoned, fresh, & cooked perfectly. The arepa was especially satisfying & filling, & the flan was a great way to end the meal.
The service was also excellent. Our server was very polite, kind, & attentive, & gave some really helpful recommendations when we were deciding what to order. It made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.
Overall, this is a fantastic spot whether you're gluten-free or not. Highly recommend checking it out!
We love these arepas, with a huge variety between meat, fish & vegan (the black beans, plantain & avocado is my favorite!). Naturally gluten-free (made with corn), this is a perfect meal out if you cannot eat gluten. Enjoy!
