Service très très long ! La viande des burgers était archi dure ville si le steak haché avait été cuit 2 fois, & on aurait dit qu'il manquait le cheese dans les macNcheese ! Aucun goût de fromage & aucun fil de fromage, juste des pâtes baignées dans de la crème.
Par contre le personnel est très gentil & les frites à la truffe & parmesan aussi.
Love this restaurant, with its stunning decor, delicious food, & a waiter named William who was both charming & exceptional. I will definitely be back.

I ordered a medium rare steak with side of mashed, both very bland, the steak is overcooked. The server tried to clean the outside table first even though I been waiting for 5 minutes & have the table is empty. I had to wait for more than 10 minutes for the check & the total was wrong. Overall, it disappointed experience
Gorgeous interior dining space! The tartare was good, the mussels weren't anything special in my opinion. Service was standard. I would come back & sit on the patio for a drink.
This place is very cozy. Great place to go with your significant other for a date. I had the burger & I loved it. My daughter had the pasta of the day with lamb & she loved it. I highly recommend. I love the ambience. The music. The staff is great

2e visite. Cette fois-ci en terrasse & en solo. L'assiette du tartare de saumon en plat était copieuse & délicieuse.
Accompagné d'un bon Chardonnay français bien frais.
Le service était limite, peu souriant du jeune homme, il n'est pas venu une seule fois pour valider que tout était correct pour moi, si j'avais besoin d'autres choses. Même pas sûr qu'il m'est souhaité'bonne soirée' ou autre formule de politesse. Pourtant ce n'est pas comme si c'était plein à craquer sur la terrasse.

L'endroit est vraiment très agréable & les plats sont délicieux ! Mais le vrai point fort, c'est le service : on a eu la chance d'être servis par Tahina, qui a rendu notre moment au Bistrot Vallier mémorable !
The restaurant is beautiful & aesthetic as you walk in, with flowers & a rustic look to the furniture & windows. Definitely was a warm & inviting atmosphere on a summer day. We had the vol au vent which is a puff pastry with some chicken, peas & carrots. It was good. The moules au frites was also good, definitely something to share as there were so much mussels. It was a tomato-ey sauce which was a bit acidic. Overall great spot, I would've tried other dishes though.
Une belle expérience au Vallier Bistro ! La déco est vraiment superbe, le service agréable & tout sur la carte donne envie. Le tartare de saumon & le risotto étaient bons ! Une belle découverte.
Very amazing experience! The food was spectacular & very tasty! I had the Escargot gratiné for starter & the coquille Saint-Laurent was to die for! Our server Romain was very attentive & his service was of high quality. Dominique came & checked in on us, she was an absolute gem & made sure that we had everything that we needed. I recommend this restaurant if ever you visit the Old Port of Montreal!!!
Felt like I was walking into a movie scene, this place is a must visit while in Montreal. The French onion soup is definitely the best I've ever had. & the dessert, pouding chômeur, was incredibly delicious
