Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé, c'est l'ambiance conviviale & chaleureuse, parfaite pour un brunch, un lunch ou un souper. L'endroit a un charme à la fois moderne & accueillant, avec une carte de cocktails & de vins qui complète super bien le repas. 🍷✨
Paris bistro experience without flying across the Atlantic. Even our server was from France. Wish had more time to sample the menu but was under a time rush. Had steak tartare with salad - perfection. The toast points had the right amount of thinness & crunch. The fries could have been crisper. Finally, arrive before the lunch rush, if you don't want to wait.

Randomly stopped in to Vallier for a bite to eat & was attracted to the decor. We had the fish of the day & the pasta of the day & were pleased with both. We shared the fennel salad with salmon & this was definitely the highlight. We had bad timing arriving just behind a party of 18 but William took great care of us & we never minded a bit.
Très bon repas entre collègues au Bistro Vallier ce midi ! Dommage qu'ils ne proposent plus de table d'hôte, mais les portions sont généreuses. Le tartare était délicieux & bien assaisonné, accompagné d'une salade fraîche & croquante. Les frites, servies à part, étaient bien croustillantes. Le gâteau aux carottes était excellent, même si la portion était un peu trop grosse ! Service rapide & efficace, parfait pour un lunch. On a eu un peu froid, mais l'ambiance restait agréable. Une bonne adresse pour bien manger !
I had a fantastic meal here! I started with the French onion soup, which was absolutely delicious-the cheese was perfectly crispy, & the bread had the ideal crunch. I also tried the Brussels sprout salad with shredded duck. While it was my least favorite dish of the night (mainly because I'm not a huge fan of duck), it was still really good. I do wish it had more Brussels sprouts, but the thick, flavorful bacon was a standout! For my main dish, I had the vol-au-vent, & it was one of the best comfort foods I've ever had. It wasn't too heavy & reminded me of chicken pot pie in phyllo dough-it was absolutely delicious, & I highly recommend it! For drinks, I originally asked for rosé, but they didn't have it. The server recommended Prosecco instead, & I'm so glad they did-it was amazing!
I stopped by after a long day & had an early dinner of mussels & fries. Absolutely perfect. Look at the photos: a delightful simple salad, then the mussels & yummy fries. I wanted an after dinner drink but didn't know which one to have. The waitress recommended the Pineau des Charentes which was amazing. I can't wait to visit again when I'm in town.

Entre un tarif affiché sur la carte (salade à 27$), une assiette pas si garnie, une facture qui arrive avec un prix à 28$ la salade & le pourboire qui commence à 18%, on peut commencer à parler d'arnaque. J'ai beaucoup fréquenté le vallier ces dernières années mais ça a baissé en qualité & monté en prix malheureusement.
Restaurant de haute qualité culinaire, peu de plats à la carte mais excellents. Les serveurs sont très aimables & au soin de leurs clients notamment Philippe. Une terrasse extérieure est présente. Une agréable découverte sur Montréal. Mention spéciale à la pieuvre & à la salade bruxelloise.
We had an excellent meal starting with the Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad. We sampled the mushroom toast, which was excellent but the highlight was the Mushroom Risotto.
Accueil & service chaleureux, souriants . Joli décor & pas trop bruyant . La salade tiède & le tartare étaient excellents. Nourriture simple mais bonne . Moment agréable .
Je suis allée manger après mon travail. J'ai commandé la salade chaude, juste incroyable, que des bons produits, avec un mélange de textures & de saveurs. Les portions sont généreuses. Très grand choix de vins. Endroit magnifique, où on se sent bien, entourés de plantes & d'une décoration au goût raffiné, ambiance très chaleureuse. Le service est parfait & j'ai été très bien conseillé. Parfait pour tout type d'événements, un repas seul au bar, un date avec son/sa partenaire, repas entre amis ! Je viens de me créer une dépendance.

Months ago my partner & I randomly stopped in for a drink at the bar because we had some time to kill in the area. We were impressed by the decor & the friendliness of the staff so we said we'd come back sometime for a meal.
Yesterday we decided to try having dinner here & we're not disappointed. We ordered the Calimari, Brussel sprout Cesar salad (delicious), French onion soup & Steak. Everything was good, the prices are reasonable & the service was friendly again. We enjoyed the vintage style, live plants & natural light from the big windows.
Tartare de saumon, frites & salade tellement délicieux! & quoi dire du « pouding chômeurs » il faut changer le nom pour « pouding du président » tellement riche & décadent qu'aucun chômeur peut se le permettre 🤣
