Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé, c'est l'ambiance conviviale & chaleureuse, parfaite pour un brunch, un lunch ou un souper. L'endroit a un charme à la fois moderne & accueillant, avec une carte de cocktails & de vins qui complète super bien le repas. 🍷✨
We're a couple of Kiwis who had an early dinner at Vallier Bistro while in Montreal in October. Food was excellent. Cocktails were great. Service was confident & very accomplished, especially for a team that looked quite young. If we're ever in Montreal again, we'll be back.

L'endroit rare mais qui existe, pour boire un vrai café, très bien manger, & déguster de savoureux cocktails. Service impeccable, prix raisonnables, tout est au rendez vous. Enfin des serveurs intelligents & professionnels! Merci !!
We visited Vallier Bistro as part of the MTL à Table event, & it was a memorable experience. While the service was a bit slow, the overall experience more than made up for it. The Toblerone martini was the highlight of the evening-it's absolutely divine, almost addictive, like a dessert & a cocktail rolled into one. The food was equally impressive, especially the oysters, which were fresh & perfectly prepared. Every bite & sip felt indulgent. The beef tartare was also divine. The location is ideal, & the ambiance inside is classy & elegant, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion or an upscale evening out. Despite the slow service, I'd return in a heartbeat for the drinks, food, & atmosphere.
I don't normally write reviews but the food at this place was outstanding. Between the starters & the main dishes coming out was a bit of a delay, but the cocktails & the food was amazing.

Cocktails & food were great. Philippe was really great, such a kind dude. Gave us good advice about the city since we'd just come as visitors & gave amazing service. Merci !
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, the cocktail were very good, the food was even better! Calamari was perfectly cooked. Best French onion soup we've ever had! The poutine was a great treat, fries were awesome & that gravy was pretty tasty, cheese was on point! I would definitely come back here for all of those! I loved the charming look of this place too, plants galore! Our waiter was marvellous & very attentive.
The mushroom toast was so good. It was mushrooms in a rich creamy savory sauce over some killer toast. I wanted to lick the plate the sauce was so good. The calamari was also good too, not rubbery. The drinks were inventive but not weird. Both of our cocktails were delicious & did not survive long.

This is a hidden gem in Montreal. Great prices. Great food. & super accommodating staff! We came as a family with our newborn & the staff helped us make extra space on the terrace for our stroller. We had the oysters which is HUGE! Also, the decor inside is stunning & really nice for an evening cocktail out with friends next time. We will be back.

3 étoiles & demi mais j'aurais tellement voulu donner plus! Le restaurant est de toute beauté, l'accueil est chaleureux & décontracté, on s'y sent bien! Belle carte de bières/vins/cocktails & menu intéressant & varié. Je crois qu'ils doivent être victimes de la pénurie de personnel, ce qui a rendu l'expérience plus décevante. Lors de la prise de la commande, on nous informe qu'il y a des plats qui ne sont plus disponibles, ce qui nous a déçus; on aurait dû en être informés lorsqu'ils nous ont apporté le menu. Une fois les commandes passées, il a fallu une heure pour recevoir les entrées (deux salades vertes & un plat de calmars frits), qui étaient par contre très bonnes. Trois des plats principaux nous ont été servis & un des nôtres n'a pas reçu son assiette au même moment.
Bavette & frites: bonne portion, cuisson pas à point.
Halloumi & purée: plat original qui aurait été délicieux mais servi très tiède.
Tartare de saumon: bon
Hamburger: très bon
Crème brûlée au Grand Marnier bien réussie.
Notre serveuse principale était plutôt absente mais des collègues très sympathiques prenaient la relève.
Au moment d'apportez l'addition, ils avaient pris l'initiative de ne pas charger les entrées pour le temps d'attente, sans que nous n'ayons rien demandé, ce que nous avons apprécié.
Que dire du Vallier. En fait rien car chaque fois que j'y vais tout est parfait! Poutine de canard, tartare, cocktails, sans oublier l'incontournable pouding chômeur!! Bref, ce resto c'est du bonbon.
