One of the best if not THE best vegan restaurant in Montreal. Abi is a very kind & warm person that provides a really great dining experience. Food is delicious as well as the drinks! In all of my 6 days visiting i came back three times for the dinner but it wasn't unfortunately enough to try out all of the menu but that will be an excuse for the next visit! Special shout out as well goes to mango moksha! Shikriya Abi!
Food was the best we had this past weekend. I am still thinking about it & can't wait to be back in Montreal to eat here again!! We got the salad, chicken tikka masala , chilli chicken, paratha, mango lassi, jackfruit biryani & purple yam cake & would recommend all of them. The service was absolutely amazing. Abi, the owner explained the full menu & you can see the passion he has for all the food on his menu!! 100% recommend.
Metered street parking. Be careful the two metered spots directly in front of the restaurant are reserved for deliveries during the day Monday to Friday (I thought I was super lucky LOL). Adorable atmosphere with lots of colour & greenery. Weekday lunches offer the Thali sampling plate. It's a must try. Everything is plant based so it's safe for lactose intolerant friends & most items are gluten free. Everything was perfectly balanced & flavourful. The mango lassi is made with coconut yogourt & no added sugar so it's light & you don't feel bloated afterwards. The best part is the staff. The owner is so passionate about sharing his love for food that it translates into the menu & the dishes. I'll be back to try Grandma's curry.
The food was phenomenal & the plates are so pretty. I tried their mango lassi made with coconut milk & it's was delicious. The waiter was so nice & explained every single thing on our plate & helped us so much with the menu. I went for lunch & I will be back for the dinner menu!
Our first meal in Montreal, & we were blown away. Whatever you do, do NOT forget to order the mango lassi-the best I've had in my life! The vegan butter chicken was also remarkable, as was the tikka masala poutine... it was difficult to not return for dinner again the next day. The vibe is lovely for a casual date, too. The staff treated us very well, too. Highly recommended!
Our first time there & we loved it! There was a feeling of kindness & generosity when you enter the room, so very welcoming & calm. & the food was so delicious. I got the tofu scramble stuffed lentil crepe/dosa, which came with dips & a soup, all so packed with flavor. The mango lassi is a must, as is the tofu scramble sandwich. Everything tasted nicely seasoned & balanced. It's a must-try!
I really recommend Tula, they have one of the best mango lassis i've ever had! We ordered vegan butter chicken & grandma's curry, & both meals were amazing. The stuff is also incredibly nice, & they are all bilingual.
Wonderful restaurant. The food is flavorful, delicious, & healthy. I had the lunch thali, which was a great way to try lots of different things. The mango coconut lassi was also amazing. Very friendly service as well.
The food was amazing! I recommend the tikki burger. The food was so light & flavourful. The portion sizes were just enough & it tasted very authentic. & this was just the brunch menu! The service was so amazing as well! The service was also perfectly bilingual. I highly recommend for authentic & fresh food. Drinks were super good. The mango lassi, made with coconut yogurt, was one of the best I've had!
