The Keg Steakhouse + Bar a ouvert les portes de son premier restaurant à Vancouver en 1971. Ayant pris de l’expansion au Canada et aux États-Unis depuis ses débuts, il compte maintenant plus de 100 adresses. Bien que son nom et son décor aient changé au fil des décennies, l’expérience gastronomique est restée la même à ce jour. We passed by by coincidence. Got a quiet table at the window.
We were tired but the lady who served us really lifted us up.
We had a main course, dessert & some drinks. All tastefully & nicely presented.

We tried a few dishes & everything was amazing.
The New York Striploin was cooked perfectly - juicy, tender, & full of flavour.
The New York Peppercorn was also delicious, especially with the creamy peppercorn sauce. Definitely one of my favourites!
We had a bottle of La Petite Perrière Pinot Noir (2024) with our meal, & it paired beautifully with the steaks.
For dessert, we had the Billy Miner Pie, & it was the perfect finish - mocha ice cream, chocolate crust, fudge, caramel, & almonds. So good!
Overall, great food & great service. Highly recommend trying both New York steaks & ending with the Billy Miner Pie!

The Keg was amazing! Wonderful service & recommendations from William. The Caesar salad, the steak & mushrooms, crab legs, & twice baked potato were all so tasty - & to top it off, we were surprised with dessert for our celebration right after! Not sure what the dessert was called, but that alone would have been enough to bring my back, as it the main course wasn't! The ice cream like cake was so good, tasted like a Heath Bar, & very creamy!!

One of the best spots in Montreal, hands down. From the quality of food to the outstanding service, everything was on point. Shoutout to our waiter Charles for being incredibly patient, attentive, & kind. He even surprised us with dessert on the house. Rare to find service like this in MTL. Worth every penny, would go back a hundred times over.

Nous sommes arrivés sans réservation après une très mauvaise expérience ailleurs, & quelle belle surprise ! Toute l'équipe nous a accueillis avec chaleur, mais un remerciement tout particulier au serveur (grand, brun, aux ongles vernis argentés) qui a été absolument exceptionnel du début à la fin.
Il a su transformer notre soirée, qui avait très mal commencé, en un vrai moment de bonheur. Gentillesse, humour, attention, service irréprochable… & même un dessert offert pour célébrer nos 1 an de mariage. On s'est sentis réellement pris en compte & entourés avec bienveillance.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe. Grâce à vous, cette soirée restera un beau souvenir.

Excellente soirée passée en compagnie de mes collègues pour souper.
Le serveur était proactif, s'assurant que tout était ok pour nous. Grand choix de viande au menu & la cuisson du steak que j'ai commandé était parfaite.
Nous avons même eu droit à un dessert gracieuseté de la maison à la fin du repas.
Je recommande cet endroit!

The service was perfect, able to answer any questions regarding the menu. For the price we paid the food could be much more better than that. But overall I recommend the place. The dessert "crème brûlée" is definitely why I could go there again.

We loved this restaurant! Best meal we've had in the last week!! Steak, salmon, & shrimp. Yum yum! We also had the Miner dessert. Fantastic drinks & fantastic service. Just a delightful evening!

My husband & I ate here for his birthday dinner last week & were extremely pleased with our experience! Our server Charlie was super friendly & incredibly helpful! We were both very happy with the food we ordered as well (if you're looking for an awesome steak cooked however you like it -even Rare, (hard to find in Canada) this is your place!) The snow crab legs were the best Ever as well! Charlie even hooked us up with a free dessert (the strawberry mint meringue dessert, Amazing!) for my husband's birthday plus some extra dinner mints because we loved them so much! Her & her coworker (I believe his name was Josef or similar?) made this one of our favorite restaurant experiences in Canada! We will definitely be back :) A+++

I booked online for dinner, party of 6, it was a breeze. Parking is tricky with Montreal never-ending construction. We were seated right away. Outstanding & efficient service. I had the lobster bisque, it's my favorite & they make it so well. The bread is always fresh & hot off the oven with amazing butter. I had to control myself & not take more bread 😂 as I was offered. We all ordered the steak to be medium. Mine was more toward medium-well but was good. The top sirloin was fantastic. The fries were great, not greasy, perfectly salted. The Pina Colada was very well made, 10/10. We were full so didn't have dessert or coffee but will do that next time around. A solid recommendation if you're in the mood for stake, just emphasize how you want your meat done.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Best steaks I've ever eaten in my life! The environment is beautiful, luxurious, & at the same time cozy. Perfect for any occasion. The service is extremely professional & friendly. We went with friends, & we had a little mix up with the order, & some dishes were wrong. Because some of us got his order later & the whole company couldn't eat all together, staff apologized sincerely, redid all the dish (not just the steak but also replaced potatoes that were getting cold) & gave us each a dessert option on the house. Wonderful night, positive emotions only.

Had a great time today trying this place. The food was delicious, drinks was great & waiter was very friendly & kind. Definitely coming back again to try more food & maybe I'll get dessert since this time I was full from the drinks 😋

We celebrated my husband's birthday last night at The Keg. This was our first disappointment at The Keg The restaurant was empty. Our waiter, Daniel, was excellent & very attentive. The sour bread was spectacular, as was our appetizer- the Blue Cheese wedge salad. My husband & our friend each ordered the steak with a lobster tail. I ordered the prime rib. We all requested medium rare beef. Although the meat came as requested, the rib was dry, with no juice & cold. Both men mentioned the lobster was delicious, but their beef was tough. Daniel surprised us with a delicious Mocha ice cream birthday wedge for dessert, which was very much appreciated. This was the only time in decades that we were disappointed in The Keg.

Amazing experience, the food is really well served. I’ll the waitress were really helpful explaining the dishes & making ourselves comfortable.
A lot of good drink options available & a small but good dessert menu.

Had a great salad & a wonderful martini for lunch. Have been many times at night but this was my first lunch. Go around 2 if you want to relax & not be in a sea of people & be sure to ask for JoAnne as your server. She is a cut above........made my day with her suggestion of the Billy Miner Pie for dessert.
