I had never done a dinner cruise in Montreal. It's not that it was bad, it's just that it's probably one of the clearest lessons in economics you can have on a dinner cruise ship. Depending on the package that you buy (& if I remember correctly from the website & my dinner experience, there are five levels), you'll be seated either closer to the wall or closer to the dance floor. The dinner service takes about half an hour to start serving food. & I'll tell you that with the five-course meal that I ordered for my husband & I, we left feeling full. Everything is an add-on. There were nice musical acts, but it's three stars just because the price is excessive for the experience.

C'est bien la première fois que la croisière n'a pas été agréable.
Le guide a fait des erreurs importantes dans sa présentation.
Ensuite, nous avons attendu pendant près d'une heure que la serveuse vienne afin nous voir. Elle a priorisé les tables qui était proche de sa station de travail. Les tables du fond ont clairement pas eu un service comme les autres. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de manger … Il y a pire que ça, dans la vie, par contre nous sommes habitués d'avoir une bien meilleur expérience.

Je suis triste, car nous avons toujours eu un service impeccable dans le passé. C'est la première fois que c'est aussi décevant.
La croisière AML est d'habitude une très belles expériences.
C'est la première fois que je fais des mauvais commentaires sur une entreprise que j'aime beaucoup!
Je suis confuse face à l'expérience que nous avons eu … ☹?

We went here on August 28th to celebrate my partner's birthday, & unfortunately, the dining experience fell far short of our expectations.
As vegetarians, we opted for the 5-course dinner menu, but the food was neither fresh nor flavorful, & guests have no option to customize or choose their dishes. The meal started with a lazy green salad. Right after we got the same green leafs topped with an unidentifiable, unappealing sour & spicy thing. The only passable dish was a tempeh with red peppers, which was just okay. Our waitress did not even bother explaining what we were eating, she said that everything was tofu (even the tempeh)
The main course, a tofu curry, was entirely tasteless, making it obvious that the kitchen lacks experience in preparing thoughtful vegetarian cuisine. To finish, the dessert was ok, but overwhelmingly sweet.
On the bright side, our drinks were decent, the artists performing during dinner were great (flute & harpists) & the outdoor vibe with the DJ was very pleasant. Overall, it feels like the kitchen could put a lot more care & creativity into their vegetarian options. While the overall outing or ride itself was nice, the dinner is definitely not worth the price.
