House cocktails are whimsically elegant & happily bold. Couples & groups making music with their talk. Stumbled into the cool crowd.

Had a fabulous time at Sans Soleil with my friend last night. We tried getting a reservation at Fleurs & Cadeaux but we are so glad things happened the way they did because Sans Soleil was a much better vibe. There was a dj playing vinyl records & it was almost a speakeasy vibe. The food is incredible!! We will be coming here again for a meal in the future. 10/10 recommend
I have been going to Sans Soleil for years. It remains one of my favourite places. The team is always welcoming, the food is always very good, & the DJ sets make for memorable close to the night. Thank you, Sans Soleil.
Sans Soliel.... phew where do I even begin. The ambiance was lively yet relaxed & made for one of the best outings I've had in a while! I suggest reserving a table with a few friends & working your way through their EXQUISITE food & drink offerings... the shashimi is a must! We had a very kind & knowledgeable server named Gray, who's presence was a welcome extension of the warmth Montreal has to offer even during such frigid temperatures. My experience would not have been the same without them! After 9:45 the space turned into a dance floor; PRO-V was the DJ the night we went & I loved the 90s hip-hop/ r&b vibes provided. Sans Soliel is definitely 10/10 & worth a visit!
Très belle découverte ! Le magret de canard est tout simplement incroyable! Endroit parfait pour prendre un cocktail recherché & bien dosé. La transition vers la soirée DJ est particulièrement impressionnant!

first spot upon arriving in Montreal - the DJ set & vibes were unreal! quite small venue however staff were all super polite & helpful! will deffo come back when I can
Excellente place pour bien manger & faire la fête de manière très chill & décontractée. La musique est excellente, surtout les Dj vinyles pendant le souper. C'était parfait comme soirée!
I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was truly delicious, the ambiance was perfect, & the DJ kept the energy flowing all night. The whole vibe turned into such a fun party. I genuinely enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend it if you're looking for great food & a great time!
A space for all the senses, sounds of the underground & supreme service. Sans Soleil has everything under the sun for true music lovers, artists, the heads, the curious, locals & visitors alike. Had a beautiful Saturday night sojourn here that began with an amazing meal. We had the Onsen Tamago (perfect egg in a truffle infused broth), Legume Ohitashi (vegetable of the day was eggplant), Albacore tuna tataki & the delicious fried chicken dish. The Yune cocktail was a yuzu-infused take on the negroni -divine! - & Sake Paloma was bright & refreshing. Service was excellent - super big shout out to Andie for their amazing hospitality, kindness & menu suggestions (the team here knows a lot!), & Alex at the bar for awesome libations. We tried the special soy ice cream dessert -umami, sweet, savoury goodness! Not enough photos, was too immersed in the experience. Stick around for dancing & top shelf tunes curated & spun by guest & resident selectors. As a DJ myself, I'd be a regular here if I lived in Montreal.
A bit too much narrative from the bouncer before we were allowed in, a bit too much fog inside, a bit too much tired 80s music from the DJ, & a bit too much harassment from a drunk local patron (not the venue's fault).
The venue has potential, but we left early due to the factors listed above.
The drinks were fine, but the lighting was so dim it was difficult to read the menu & appreciate the work the bartender put into the drinks.
Got a table at the bar last minute. Had the BEST bartender walk us through the food & sake. Shared stories of Japan. We asked for some teaching on how to eat traditionally. He was so genuine & took this experience beyond anything we have had in the past. The food & the vibe & the music (dj) was wonderful but his personality & time is something we will talk about for a long time. The club vibe after dinner was also really great. Music dancing food team 10 out of 10.

My favourite bar in Montreal! Found this place a couple years ago & is now my go too for a successful night out. My favourite drink is the shiso g&t. The atmosphere is always nice & the djs are amazing!
The food was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish! We opted for the Chef's Choice menu, & every dish was a delightful surprise that just kept surpassing our expectations. Our server, Pablo, was an absolute gem-hilarious, friendly, & attentive. He answered all our questions & made us feel completely at home. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, & the thoughtful extra touches truly made the evening special. The music & DJ perfectly set the vibe for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend!
My husband & I were visiting Montreal for a few days & intended to go to Fleurs & Cadeaux for dinner, but we got sent to Sans Soleil when we arrived. Boy are we glad we ended up there! The vibe at Sans Soleil was so cozy & fun, perfect for a rainy Sunday evening, & we loved the DJ. The cocktails were creative & tasty, & the food was incredible. We ate every last bite. Andie, our server, was amazing too! We left feeling like we lucked out having this great dinner experience in such a fun spot we never would've found on our own.
