The most incredible experience I've ever had. The staff was kind & welcoming; accessibility concerns were addressed thoughtfully; & the food, well, I have no words-it was truly divine. This establishment has now become my favourite place in Montreal, & I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Came here & had an awesome experience! Sat at the bar with my partner, & we had an amazing experience chatting with the bartender, who made some delicious drinks for us, & the kohi was scrumptious! Also, ask for the umeshu, it is incredible.
The sake (salmon) sashimi was to die for, the best sashimi we've had (& were avid Japanese cuisine fans from Vancouver)
& the chicken nanban was also delicious!
Would come back, recommend the umeshu

We went for the midnight to 3am DJ set on a Sunday night & had a blast, excellent music (house, funk, techno) delivered over an exceptionally well put together sound system, energetic & friendly crowd, good air conditioning (even with the fog machine running) & moody lighting to complete the underground atmosphere. Hugely enjoyed, this spot is absolutely worth a visit if dancing in the dark is your vibe. Definitely recommend!

I came here for a Ferias event, & it was absolutely incredible. It was an all vinyl house/disco/funk set. The venue is very intimate but not over crowded. The music was amazing & the cocktails were great as well. Gray & the other bartenders were friendly & there was rarely a wait for drinks. Highly recommend if you want a chill night of dancing.

Sans Soleil has been on my to-visit list for a good while. I was pleased that I took the time to drop by - an absolute gem of a spot! Despite being located in a basement, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, & you can't help but feel transported to a different decade. They play records all the time, & although I didn't experience it, the space transforms into a vibrant dance club at night. The drinks were great (especially if you are into Saké or Japanese Whiskeys), & the service was fantastic… next time I'll have to give the food a try :) Highly recommend this spot if you are looking to enjoy some nice music in an intimate setting.

Nous avons passé une magnifique soirée au Sans Soleil!
Nous étions un groupe de 8 & avions donc un menu fixe ainsi qu'une salle à nous. Tout était vraiment très bon. Le service du serveur était également soigné & bien timé.
Niveau prix, pour les mêmes portions ce serait peut-être plus avantageux de choisir les plats à la carte plutôt que le menu fixe.
L'ambiance est géniale, on recommande fortement!

L'ambiance pour le souper est parfaite pour une date night: lumière tamisée, atmosphère intime & tables rapprochées qui créent une belle proximité. Le staff est incroyable : super sympathique, connaît très bien le menu & est toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions ou même à aller chercher l'information au besoin.

La nourriture est excellente, j'en prendrais des portions plus grosses tellement c'est bon ! & les cocktails sont tout simplement délicieux.

Je recommande aussi de rester jusqu'à la partie danse, l'ambiance devient plus festive & ça complète parfaitement la soirée.

Une très belle découverte!

Had a fabulous time at Sans Soleil with my friend last night. We tried getting a reservation at Fleurs & Cadeaux but we are so glad things happened the way they did because Sans Soleil was a much better vibe. There was a dj playing vinyl records & it was almost a speakeasy vibe. The food is incredible!! We will be coming here again for a meal in the future. 10/10 recommend
