Puis, à mesure que la journée avance, l'endroit se transforme. L'ambiance évolue vers une deep house & une musique électronique raffinée, à la fois douce, immersive & soigneusement sélectionnée. Ce qui distingue vraiment le lieu, ce sont les DJ : ici, on sent le savoir-faire de véritables passionnés du vinyle. Ce ne sont pas simplement des DJ qui enchaînent des morceaux, mais des artistes qui construisent un parcours musical cohérent, avec un fil conducteur & une vraie intention derrière leurs sélections.
Chaque jour apporte une nouvelle expérience, puisque les DJ changent régulièrement & insufflent chacun leur propre identité à l'ambiance.
L'équipe à l'accueil est toujours chaleureuse & accueillante. J'apprécie aussi la disponibilité de l'eau pour les clients, un détail simple mais très apprécié lorsqu'on passe plusieurs heures sur place.
Mes seuls bémols : la nourriture est un peu chère & les toilettes deviennent rapidement très achalandées lorsque la piste de danse se remplit.
Malgré cela, Sans Soleil reste un lieu exceptionnel, avec une atmosphère presque secrète & une personnalité unique. Une adresse à découvrir pour les amateurs de bonne musique & d'expériences authentiques

Another staff member was a bit more'tête en lair' didn't seem to understand certain menu requests. Communication seemed challenging.

Simply the best clubby bar in town! You're guaranteed to have a treat on any given night of the week: always great DJs (playing well curated selections on vinyl records only), one of the best custom sound systems in Montreal, cool people, & outstanding service from the fabulous staff. You can also order food from the iconic Fleurs & Cadeaux restaurant above, & they can serve you in the bar. Go early, it's hard to get in!
It's absolutely the tiniest nightclub. We waited hours in line, expecting something amazing instead found a dingy barely decorated hovel so small we couldn't even move to dance. Music wasn't good

Went on a Wednesday & a Saturday. Wednesday was way more fun because more room to dance & not as crowded plus the crowd was way better felt like pros vs amateurs. This place spins strictly vinyl & bartenders really take their time craft the drinks on Wednesday. Bartender spent like 10 minutes on my drinks on Wednesday night.
Soirée impeccable, nous sommes entrés à deux au Fleur & Cadeau sans réservation. Ils nous ont gentiment mentionné qu'il y aurait possiblement de la place au sans soleil. Le bar nous a accueillis & nous avons reçu un service impeccable d'Alex au bar. Même choix de nourriture qu'à l'étage avec l'ambiance du speakeasy ! Merci
A space for all the senses, sounds of the underground & supreme service. Sans Soleil has everything under the sun for true music lovers, artists, the heads, the curious, locals & visitors alike. Had a beautiful Saturday night sojourn here that began with an amazing meal. We had the Onsen Tamago (perfect egg in a truffle infused broth), Legume Ohitashi (vegetable of the day was eggplant), Albacore tuna tataki & the delicious fried chicken dish. The Yune cocktail was a yuzu-infused take on the negroni -divine! - & Sake Paloma was bright & refreshing. Service was excellent - super big shout out to Andie for their amazing hospitality, kindness & menu suggestions (the team here knows a lot!), & Alex at the bar for awesome libations. We tried the special soy ice cream dessert -umami, sweet, savoury goodness! Not enough photos, was too immersed in the experience. Stick around for dancing & top shelf tunes curated & spun by guest & resident selectors. As a DJ myself, I'd be a regular here if I lived in Montreal.
