Zero Sugar Non-Alcoholic Margaritas Arrive in Quebec

New Quebec-made ready-to-drink beverages arrive for summer. The Pretty Ugly Company and Comont Distillerie launch four margaritas that are 0% alcohol, 0 calories, and 0 sugar, made with rescued limes for an eco-friendly, zero-sugar mocktail alternative. Flavours: Grapefruit, Fresh Mango, Classic Lime, Cucumber & Cactus. Available in Quebec stores including Avril.

A new Quebec-made ready-to-drink beverage is hitting shelves just in time for summer. The Pretty Ugly Company and Comont Distillerie have teamed up to launch a line of canned non-alcoholic margaritas made with 0% alcohol, 0 calories, and 0 sugar.

With this collaboration, the two local companies aim to offer a refreshing alternative to traditional mocktails that are often loaded with sugar. "Most mocktails on the market are all the same: sugar, calories, and a taste that tries to imitate alcohol without really succeeding. We wanted to do something different. The result is four canned Margarita flavours that are truly 0% alcohol, 0 calories, and 0 sugar," says Lysanne Bourret, co-founder of The Pretty Ugly Company.

Staying true to its anti-food waste mission, The Pretty Ugly Company uses fresh rescued limes in the production of these eco-conscious beverages. Comont Distillerie, based in Bedford in the Montérégie region, brings its flavour development expertise to create balanced and refreshing drinks.

These non-alcoholic margaritas are designed for everyone, including people who do not drink alcohol, those looking to alternate during a night out, designated drivers, pregnant women, or anyone wanting a delicious drink without the next-day headache.

The 355 ml cans are now available in several grocery stores across Quebec, including Avril.

The 4 flavours:

  • Grapefruit
  • Fresh Mango
  • Classic Lime
  • Cucumber & Cactus
