I had the vegetarian tan tan miso ramen & I will be dreaming of that broth for years! The staff was friendly & the atmosphere was quaint, there was even anime on the tv!
It was very fast & service was good largely because it was not-busy. The menu is extremely pork-y (one could get vegetarian ramens then add extra ingredients as sides & the takoyaki is decent; but when you're scanning through the menu it feels like 80% pork).
My spouse & I are vegetarian & we are always on the hunt for excellent vegetarian ramen. Ramen Misoya hits it out of the park. Every fan of vegetarian ramen should make sure to check out Ramen Misoya when in Montreal. I got the Tantan, my spouse got the silver with an egg. Both were outstanding. Excellent flavor, toppings, noodles, etc. 👌
You have to go down a flight of stairs to get in & we were a bit nervous with our stroller & 5-month old. But the staff was incredibly helpful & it was not a problem at all.
Pretty typical ramen place - not about the ambience, it's about the food.
Tasty broth & good texture of the noodles, but the cha-siu slice is thin & small, the egg was not perfect, & the price for these extra aren't worth it. Maybe best for vegetarian dishes. Took a while to receive the bowl as well, perhaps understaff.
Excellent soup. I had the vegetarian tantan ramen, & it was spicy & delicious. Bare bones space but comfortable. Efficient & friendly staff. Would definitely come again.
i ordered silver broil basic with a piece of tofu in it . i asked what was the difference with the vegetarian one. ? not much of an answer.... after 30 min , i received my soup with an egg instead of a piece of tofu. The guy said no more tofu. Egg is more expensive...( you are lucky ) I had no time to say anything , as he turned back & went to another table. When i paid, i told him that he should tell me before & ask me what i want before choosing the egg for me. I asked him...& if i would had choosen the evegetarien ones He aswered there would be tofu.....
Good food! Great value! Check this place out if you're looking for good ramen. Just note that the broth for the vegetarian option is on the salty side
Low key Ramen place in downtown Montreal. I tried their Vegetarian as well as Regular Ramen & it hit all the right spot. Highly recommend this place while visiting Montreal
