noodle(503) soup(140) beef(93) broth(86) recommend(45) spicy(43) bowl(42) rapide(39) fresh(38) busy(36) pulled(35) flavor(33)We were lucky to get a table for 5 people! Resto not busy. We ordered 4 vegie noodle soups & one beef noodle soup. Portion was very generous. We enjoyed all soups. Veggie Broth not as rich as meat Broth but this is why we liked it. Simple & yet still delicious. We love trying diffrent soups.
My go-to place for noodles with friend. Their broth is hearty & their noodles have great texture & variety, the meat is also nice. Mind that the soup portions can be very large. The place is pretty popular, so you may need to queue at peak hours.
Perfecto para un día de invierno en Montreal. Los fideos son artesanales.
The quantity was generous but it honestly didn't live up to the hype to me.
I've been to Nouilles de Lan Zhou a few times for lunch, & the food has been consistently delicious every visit.
The hand?pulled noodles are always fresh & springy, the broths are flavourful without being too heavy, & the portions are generous enough to feel satisfying. Even during busy lunch hours, the service is quick & efficient, & the dishes come out piping hot. For the quality you get, the prices are very reasonable, which makes it an easy place to return to whenever I'm in Chinatown. A dependable spot for a comforting, well?made bowl of noodles.
Overall it was great.
We waited for 30 mins but the order came out fast.
Ordered Dandan noodle & Beef noodle:
Dandan noodle: On point. Probably the best dandan we had in North America.
Beef noodle: Maybe it was the size 4 noodle but it was pretty average in my opinion.
Still great choice for people looking for reasonable priced food in town.
If you're a fan of fresh, hand-pulled noodles in a rich, aromatic broth, this Montreal spot is a must-try, nothing else quite compares. It's so popular that lines are common, but they move quickly & are absolutely worth the wait. My go-to order is the beef Lanzhou pulled #2 noodles paired with a flavourful cucumber salad. Solo diners take note: there's a dedicated counter section where you can usually snag a seat without waiting in line. Just walk passed the line (it's fine!). With its central location, fair prices, & great quality, this place ranks among Montréal's top eats imo.
ANY lanzhou noodle on any street of any city in China tastes better than this
Long wait on Saturday at 5pm. Not much space inside so prepare to brave the cold. Can see chefs hand pull noodles from the window
