When you see people lined up for noodle soup at 83F, you know this place is legit. This place serves good hand-pulled noodles & the service was pretty quick. The place itself is small & divided into 2 seating sections. I recommend coming here early especially if you have a big group. They have 7 types of noodles & number 7 is the most favorite one. The noodles are chewy, not too thick, & slurping good! The highly recommended noodle soup has a clear, fresh broth & tender meat. It's so good! & their dandan noodles is also superb although not spicy enough if you enjoy spicy food.
Very tasty food! The portions are extremely large so be wise when you make the choice of portion. There are not too many items in the menu, but what I have tried was delicious. You can choose the noodles size. I went for size 3 but I still found it a bit thick. There was a line at the entrance but it moved relatively fast. Prices are fair.
This place is an amazing place to go if you want to find authentic or as close as authentic Lanzhou noodles. It is always delicious noodles are always fresh. Service is nice & fast. They constantly come & fill your water. They do not let you wait on them. Amazing place if you ever come to Montreal want want a great beef noodle definitely give this place a try
This place is really good! We've eaten there twice in the past week & will probably go again before we leave Montreal at the end of the month. Highly recommend!
I don't know why a Lanzhou ramen restaurant doesn't have air conditioning. There is only one small fan in the whole restaurant. On a 30-degree day, the indoor temperature is hotter than the outdoor temperature. The service staff is good, but the boss seems to be very stingy & doesn't want to turn on the air conditioning. Even the water is not ice cold. At least I won't come here again in the summer. No matter how delicious the noodles are, I don't want to taste them. The restaurant is too hot!

They have expanded the place since the last time I went & added a few more seatings to meet demands (people are still lining up). Food is made fresh but was it out of this world? No, i've had similar noodle bowls elsewhere & price point, expect about 20$ per person (i find it expensive for what it is). As many people mentioned in their reviews, there is no air conditionner. We left this place sweating like we just took a shower, i hope they will eventually take this in consideration. Will I come back anytime soon? No! Service was fast & friendly.
The noodles are very chewy & taste good. The place is hot & small but we got the best table for 6 ppl & facing the fan cos we arrived just after they open at 11am & nobody there yet. After we finished, there was a long line up.
I got a medium special Lanzhou with #5 noodles. Serving was really hearty & delicious for the price. Lots of thick, chewy noodles & enough beef. Small place though, had to wait for a while for a table of 4.
Nice place. Have vegetarian ramen option. Their appetisers are very tasty. Must try the edamame & cucumber salad. Portion size is excellent. They have vegetarian & beef, pork broth. Do not have chicken broth. We took the small size bowl & was more than enough for one person. Great location right in Chinatown.
