Lunch

Date: 02 July, 2026

On one of the hottest days of the summer, Chandni and Dalia enjoyed a relaxing lunch on the beautiful flower-filled terrace at Pizzédélic Boucherville. Thanks to the shade and refreshing breeze, it was easy to forget they were dining just steps away from a parking lot. Before even sitting down, they couldn't help but notice the restaurant's fun, nostalgic 90s-inspired interior, full of colourful details that add to its charm. Everything is made in-house, and each dish highlighted fresh, quality ingredients. They started with the salmon gravlax served with a lemon and basil sour cream, before enjoying the Rocket Pizza topped with prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette, along with the light and refreshing Soleil Pasta, both perfect choices for a warm summer day. Fun fact: Pizzédélic's pizzas are square instead of round! To finish on a sweet note, they shared the restaurant's famous Chocochon, a rich chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache and salted caramel, while Dalia enjoyed a refreshing Espresso Martini. It was the perfect ending to a delicious summer lunch.

Before everyone headed off for summer vacation, Dalia organized a team lunch the RestoMontréal team at Milos, giving everyone the chance to reconnect before taking some well-deserved time off. Since the team mostly works remotely, it was the perfect opportunity to catch up over a delicious Mediterranean feast. The lunch menu featured a variety of standout starters, including crispy fried calamari, grilled octopus, and the table's unanimous favourite, the vine-ripened tomato salad. Known for its exceptionally fresh seafood, Milos certainly lived up to its reputation. Chandni and Dalia enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon on Terrasse Bivouac, overlooking Place des Festivals and taking in the lively atmosphere of the Quartier des spectacles. The terrace provided the perfect setting to discover Chef Xavier Dahan's local and boreal-inspired cuisine through the restaurant's lunch menu, offered at $35 for two courses or $44 for three. To start, they shared a refreshing watermelon, tomato, cucumber, mint, and feta salad, where the sweetness of the fruit paired beautifully with the salty feta and fresh herbs, along with a scallop ceviche brightened with lime that highlighted the delicate flavour of the seafood. Located in the heart of Laval's popular Centropolis, Madame Bovary is an impressive 18+ destination where every corner offers its own unique atmosphere. With three bars, a pool table, a hidden room, and a stunning interior, it's the perfect spot for a date night, girls' night, group celebration, or even a holiday party. Taking advantage of Montreal's short summer season, Dalia chose to dine on the lush outdoor terrace, where the greenery makes it easy to forget you're just steps away from the bustling streets. Known for its shareable tapas, she sampled several of the restaurant's newest dishes, including fresh oysters, the Snow Crab Cake, and Salmon Gravlax, paired with a refreshing Seville 75 and Royal Blue Fizz Spritz. She also enjoyed the roasted squash risotto, a perfectly cooked steak frites served with homemade fries, and wines from Greece and Italy. Four Course Experience

Date: 16 July, 2026

Dalia and Chandni had been looking forward to trying Mama C for quite some time, and for their first visit, they chose the Mama C Experience, a four-course tasting menu featuring six to eight dishes. They loved sitting back and letting the chef guide their evening. From the moment they stepped inside, they were impressed by the restaurant's elegant design. Bright yet warm and inviting, the beautifully curated décor creates the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Their server, Andrew, was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making the evening even more enjoyable. Dalia recently rediscovered Trattoria Bellamore in Sainte-Dorothée and was reminded why it's such a hidden gem, while Chandni was discovering it for the very first time. From the warm welcome by owner Daniel, who greets many of his guests by name, to the cozy family-run atmosphere, every detail made them feel right at home. They especially enjoyed the authentic cuisine from Italy's Bari region, including the delicious Trippa di Vitello, the perfectly prepared Orecchiette con Cime di Rapa, and the traditional rabbit prepared the Pugliese way. Steak Frites Society

Date: 28 July, 2026

Dalia visited Maggie Oakes, located inside the elegant William Gray Hotel, on a Tuesday to experience the restaurant's popular Steak Frites Society night, where every cut of meat comes with unlimited fries for two hours. Yes, you read that right: unlimited golden, crispy fries. And honestly, who can resist that? She kicked off the evening with the Peruvian Velvet, a cocktail reminiscent of a Negroni but with a richer, smoother finish and delicate notes of coffee and vanilla. It paired perfectly with the escargot toast, served on toasted sourdough with a creamy celeriac rémoulade. For the main course, Dalia enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon, accompanied by basket after basket of freshly made fries. To end the meal on a sweet note, the Cookie Monster dessert delivered the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy textures, all resting on a delicious chocolate chip cookie base. The restaurant was buzzing throughout the evening, with every table making the most of the endless fries while enjoying great food and conversation. The lively atmosphere, attentive service, and vibrant energy made for a memorable dining experience.

Launch of the Terrace

Date: 30 July, 2026

If girl dinner were a restaurant, it would be Bar Dominion, especially now that they have a charming terrace. Imagine sipping on a cold margarita with a salted rim, a refreshing Paloma, or a classic Negroni, paired with fresh oysters and ahi tuna tataki. It gets even better. Picture this: a cheeseburger or a lobster roll served with a side of dangerously addictive fries. Can't decide between the two? Just share. That's exactly what Chandni and Dalia did so they could enjoy the best of both worlds. After all, it wouldn't be a proper girl dinner if they didn't share. To end on a sweet note, they enjoyed the churros and sticky toffee pudding. After such an incredible meal, it was no surprise the restaurant was buzzing all evening. Between the outstanding cocktails, delicious food, and lively atmosphere, Bar Dominion is a spot they'll happily return to. Conveniently located on Metcalfe Street, next to the Sun Life Building, it's a must-visit for cocktail lovers in downtown Montreal.

Launch of Peach & Honey menu

Date: 31 July, 2026

Dalia always looks forward to B&F's limited-time collaborations with local brands, and this seasonal menu created in partnership with Miels d'Anicet was another success. Featuring caramelized peaches, mascarpone, and artisan honey, every dish celebrated the flavours of summer. She paired the refreshing Honey Iced Coffee with the Gourmet Toast with Peaches, while her daughter enjoyed the Peach Daiquiri Mocktail and the Peach Crêpe Combo. They also couldn't resist ordering the Waffle with Peaches & Maple Ham. Each dish struck the perfect balance between sweet caramelized peaches and honey and savoury ingredients, while fresh mint added a bright finishing touch. A special shoutout to Bianca, whose warm smile and contagious energy made the visit even more enjoyable. Dalia is already looking forward to B&F's next collaboration, as each limited-time menu continues to impress with its creative flavour combinations.
