Un restaurant avec votre réputation devrait savoir comment la protéger.

J'ai amené mon beau-père de New York chez Milos après lui avoir dit que c'était l'un des meilleurs restaurants de Montréal. Clairement, j'avais tort.

Deuxième visite chez Milos… & quelle soirée horrible.

Nous avons attendu 45 minutes avant qu'une serveuse ne vienne simplemen à notre table. Personne n'a expliqué le menu. Un plat est arrivé cinq minutes après celui des autres, ce qui nous a empêchés de manger ensemble. Le service a duré quatre heures. Nous avons constamment dû demander à ce qu'on nous resserve de l'eau, & j'ai fini par me servir moi-même le vin. Bref, tous les détails qu'on attend d'un restaurant de ce calibre étaient absents.

Pour aggraver les choses, j'avais spécifiquement demandé mon poisson sans câpres, & après plus d'une heure d'attente, il est quand même arrivé avec des câpres.

Le plus décevant ? Après s'être excusée plusieurs fois au cours de la soirée, la serveuse nous a apporté l'addition… & rien n'a été offert. Je ne lui en veux pas, car je sais que ces décisions viennent souvent de la direction, pas du personnel de service.

Direction, quand vous avez une soirée chargée & que vous êtes clairement under staffed , le minimum est de donner à votre équipe les moyens de corriger la situation. Offrez un dessert, une entrée, un verre de vin …quelque chose. Milos existe depuis près de 50 ans. Vous pouvez vous permettre de donner à votre personnel les moyens de rattraper une mauvaise expérience client.
Un restaurant avec votre réputation devrait savoir comment la protéger.

Je me répète parce que clairement la direction a la tête la enflée……

What can I say, this is the best fish & seafood restaurant in Montreal. Tonight we had Joey Saputo in the house & Stephane Richer... We were served by the one & only Kostas. In our plate, grilled octopus, Cécile lavraki & Greek salad. In our glass, white Biblia. If you want the best of the best visit this restaurant when in MTL, easy parking with their valet service. Extraordinary

This was a great experience & the food was amazing & staff did an amazing job. My only criticism I can give is that the location was very full & loud & it was challenging for us to have a conversation at the larger table.
