Gacong & his team are incredibly talented & creative with their dishes. I've experienced Gacong's omakase before, & it somehow gets better every single time. The attention to detail is unmatched, & each bite truly feels like an experience in itself. I couldn't stop saying'mmm' after every course. I already can't wait to go back! 😋✨
We've been here a few times, most recently to try their omakase. We loved it! Fish tasted super fresh, their rice is really good. Will definitely go back again.

Cuisine fusion japonaise-française délicieuse, plats montés avec grand art. Les menus découverte sont très (trop) copieux. Le décor post-industriel de la salle à manger est très beau. Juste la musique électronique un peu trop forte.
La cuisine y est véritablement inventive; chaque plat a été une délicieuse surprise, offrant un plaisir tant visuel que gustatif.J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'omakase du chef GaCong Ruan, qui est un véritable artiste. De plus, vous proposez une très belle sélection de whiskys & de sakés.
Wonderful omakase experience. Fusion omakase with complex flavors & variety of fish, wagyu, duck…chef takes great pride in his dishes. Very tasty rice!

We tried the chef course which costs $200 per person before tax & tips.
The amount was not enough.

Absolutely incredible time. Did the Omakase experience on January 10th & fell in love with food all over again. Everyone from the chef to the staff was incredible. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Dead quiet & middling food for a $700 meal for two. Can't recommend
The dining experience goes way beyond the usual - elevated, creative & seriously delicious. The 60 hour braised Galbi Ribeye? Unreal. Rich, tender a flavour combo thats next level.. The rest of the menu holds up too, delicate tatakis, crispy eggplant katsu - you name it. I've been there for a couple of different occasions & each time felt special in its own way. The ambiance, service & food consistently exceeded expectations. One of a kind -truly a gem..
Drinks easily some of the best cocktails I've had in the city in a while A+++
We ordered a few of the mains . My fav was between the beef or miso Cod.

Also got the 20 piece sashimi & I don't know where they get their salmon & tuna from but they melted in mouth like butter
We got 3 sides & all of them were top notch but beef tartare was my personal favorite.

Nama Omakase was such a great experience from start to finish.
The food was absolutely delicious - beautifully prepared, incredibly fresh, & full of flavour. The drinks were just as good: well balanced, tasty, & not overly sweet, which I really appreciated.
The service was phenomenal. Everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely welcoming, & the pacing of the evening felt perfect.
The space itself is stunning - gorgeous, moody, & intimate, with a really nice atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special.
Overall, everything just came together so well. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in Montreal, & I'd happily go back.
