We had the 12 course omakase for $98 & this was our first time having a'real' omakase experience in Montreal! Meaning that the chef actually made each course of nigiri in front of us & chatted with us the whole evening. Chef GaCong Ruan was super personable & friendly & not a single dish was a miss for us. You can tell that the chef & staff are just really passionate about food & making a memorable experience for their guests. Can't recommend enough!

(Edit to add: At the time of posting this review I think the menus online are out of date... I don't think there are multiple omakase price points.

Second edit: I was wrong! There are multiple omakases - apparently the other price points are dining room only, not counter service. Thanks for the clarification! )

We went here twice & tried both of the menus & had great food each time. The chef at the bar was super nice & made sure we understood everything we were being served. The flavour combinations they made were amazing. Overall, great experience both times. I would definitely go again!

Had a chance to try the omakase experience yesterday & it was marvelous. Chef Sunny really made us discover sushi like I've never tried before. The star of the show was Titouan though! He was so friendly! He recommended us two Sake & a Japanese whiskey that truly elevated the experience. Will definitely be coming back xoxo 😘

Came here to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday with their omakase menu - specifically the counter experience so that we could see the action.

The entire experience was wonderful. The wait staff was attentive, every course was explained well, & the sushi chef (Sunny) was the star of the show.

Every morsel of food tell their own story with different textures & taste combinations. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Excellente cuisine! Probablement la meilleure dégustée à Montréal ✨
Que de belles découvertes, d'association de saveurs & de textures !! Le carpaccio de loup & le nama mamenori m'ont particulièrement marqués, surtout lorsqu'ils sont préparés sous mes yeux par le chef Sunny.
Nous étions assis au comptoir, servis par Sacha & Félix, dont la bonne humeur & le soin du détail ont fait de ma soirée d'anniversaire un incroyable moment chargé de souvenirs 🙏 merci infiniment !

The whole experience was amazing. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's bar so you can see everything! It was nice to hear where all the produce came from too! I also recommend getting a bottle of sake instead of getting a 3 sake pairing. You get to bring the bottle home if you don't finish it! The chef, our waiter, the busboys, everyone was so nice! The setting is intimate but not in the obnoxious way. It's nice & fancy without the feeling of'omg i dont belong here' if that makes sense.
From the amuse-bouche all the way to the dessert, everything was fantastic. I also highlyyyyy recommend adding the wagyu toast!!!! I still think about that bite. SO GOOOOOD!

Went for the omakase experience & absolutely loved it!

The 12-course menu was excellent, but what truly stood out were the service & ambiance. The team was outstanding. Henry was phenomenal, professional, attentive, & genuinely kind. He made spot-on recommendations throughout the evening.

Sunny, the chef, was incredibly welcoming & warm. With 21 years of experience & counting, you can definitely taste the expertise in every bite.

It's a beautiful place that feels special from the moment you walk in. Perfect for a night out with family, friends, or even on your own-as I did. I had an amazing time with the team & the people around me.

Highly recommended!
