The food & service at Moishes were absolutely impeccable! Not only that, but the beauty of the restaurant makes the experience even more special. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last. Whether for a special occasion or simply dining with family & friends, this is a great place to be. I highly recommend it!

Spent our last night in Montreal here, took the kids & all. Service was excellent, cocktails & dinner were a hit as well. Beautiful setting & a nice vibe. Highly recommend!
Moishes was so good we went back two days in a row! One of the best steakhouses my husband & I have been to, & we love our steaks.
Drinks were tasty, well balanced, & reasonably priced - we had the Le Rocket, whisky sour, & passionfruit mojito. The steaks had great sears & were cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had - super crispy with a hint of sweetness from maple syrup. I ordered the garlic mash the first night concerned that my husband would miss his usual order of French fries, but he said it was actually his favourite side we tried between both dinners. I'd recommend trying all 3 sauces, & they have a secret spice blend that was lovely with the steak (we did miss that the first night). They also serve a coleslaw & pickles as a free appetizer, & they were maybe the best coleslaw & pickles I've ever had.
Shout out to our fantastic waiters Tristan & Alan! They were attentive (e.g. we were wondering what a bordelaise sauce was & Tristan overheard & answered before we were able to check Google, & when my husband ordered a mojito Alan recommended to elevate it with a passionfruit twist & now we might always need to order passionfruit mojitos), pleasant to converse with, & overall great at their jobs.
I would definitely recommend booking a reservation if you're set on Moishes, as we heard multiple groups get turned away because they were fully booked.
Went last night for a last minute dinner . Terrace super nice ambiance & food is great . I definitely recommend if you are looking to eat a great steak 😋
Not only was the food amazing, but our waiter, Danny, provided some of the best service we've ever had in Montreal. He made our dining experience incredible & made us feel like more than just regular patrons. The steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare & extremely flavourful. Highly recommend for an amazing steakhouse experience.
Outstanding! We had a reservation for the bar & our server, Danny, was excellent - friendly & attentive. We started with escargot which may have been the best we've had. For dinner, we had the ribeye with creamed spinach & crispy onions - perfection. The sommelier, Rafael, recommended a Bordeaux that paired perfectly. Highly recommend!

It's been a long time since I had a great experience like this in a restaurant.
My only 4/5 it's the atmosphere & that's because of the lightning changement I wasn't a fan.
The food was excellent. Good quality from the appetizer to dessert it was a pure delish. Good selection of wine & champagne.
Overall this experience wouldn't have been that great without JEAN-LUC ! A waiter so kind, thoughtful & really funny. We had a blast with him. The suggestion he made …chef kiss I will say.
I highly recommend being served by JEAN-LUC & no one else.

Is this the same as the old moishe's? No! But is the experience still amazing? Yes! Moishe's was all about exceptional steaks & perfect service delivered every time & if there was an issue with something it was fixed without attitude! This hasn't changed! We were served by Mo who was incredibly professional & provided exactly the level of service our group of 4 was looking for & he helped make our evening special. The food was exactly as it has always been ( i do prefer the old rye bread vs the challah breads) but hot tip - don't fill up on bread!!! the steaks & sides are too delicious! I always get the filet mignon & ask for it to be' butterflied' or cut in half & love their signature monte carlo mashed potato & creamed spinach & mushrooms fried onions & the fresh cut fries. I do share the steak to make room for the sides! Started with a delicious caesar salad & ended with one of the best mille feuilles anywhere. Maybe one day they'll bring back the strawberry tarts! look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend this Classic Reinvented iconic restaurant!

Three great courses at a reasonable price.
Food was alright, super over salted & over priced. Honestly if I compare it to Lucille's 37$ rib steak I am equally impressed & I just saved myself 50$ a person. The steak was honestly super average. Oysters: again the 1$ oysters at Lucille's are arguable tastier. Bone marrow: was good, just over salted. Fries: MID, onion fries: actually not good at all. Filet mignon, was just not that great, overly salted, & it was nothing special. Waitor « Simon » very good & really cool. Sommelier : really good & very knowledgeable. Great wine recommendation.
All in all, I wouldn't come back & I wouldn't recommend. Way over priced (bill of over 500$ for average food). I have no problem with pricey if the food is spectacular. Really reminded me of Lucille's & I would have gotten more for much less.
Lastly valet: slightly nervy to charge 23$. Again my choice to use it but, I think after spending 500$ plus on food it should be free or cheaper.

We visited Mojchis last Saturday as a group of 12, & the experience was fantastic. Everything-from the service to the food-was perfect. The steaks were a little bit late, but honestly, with a group of 12 & everyone getting their steak at the same time, that's totally understandable. It's not easy to time that perfectly, & they pulled it off really well. Overall, we had a great time & would definitely recommend it.
Best steak I ever had. Shared the porterhouse with my family. Cooked perfectly to medium rare. I would recommend this to anyone.
I had high expectations for Moishes given its reputation, but unfortunately, our experience last night was underwhelming. My boyfriend & I both ordered the New York Strip-mine was the 10oz, & the waiter recommended the 16oz for him, which turned out to be far too much. He only ate half & we asked for it to go-twice. Sadly, the leftover steak never made it back to us, & we were handed the bill without it.
To add to the disappointment, my 10oz steak was nearly half fat, which made the portion feel even smaller. For a restaurant known for its quality, this was not what we expected.
It's a bit frustrating that at an upscale restaurant, you still have to keep an eye on the details yourself instead of simply relaxing & enjoying a good meal. We left disappointed & unfortunately won't be rushing back.
Great atmosphere, food was impeccable & service was well maintained! Recommend to anyone who wants to celebrate or just go casually 💯
