Au vue de mon accent le serveur a cru que je ne vivais pas à Montréal & m'a expliqué que le pourboire de 20% est obligatoire au Québec !! Sur une note à 500$ !!!! Quand je lui ai dis que c'etait pas bien de mentir & que j'allais mettre 10% soit 50$, il s'est enervé & m'a dit que je le faisais travailler gratuitement. Très agressif quand il a pas eu ses 20%. Il faut revoir vos façons de faire j'ai jamais vu ça dans aucun restaurant. 10/15% c'est très bien, on donne comme on peut en fonction de la note mais il est interdit d'obliger 20%.
Je suis venu beaucoup de fois en groupe & je ne reviendrai plus. Je le déconseille d'ailleurs, c'est un principe.

Tout est bon mais, ma viande n' était pas à la cuisson demandé.
Les portions pour les'à côté' sont à partager,
j'aurais aimé le savoir.
Tenue de ville, non obligatoire. Des personnes avec des casquettes & des chandails de hockey gâchent un peu la renommée.
Très bon service & chaleureux.
Friendly, efficient service. The ribeye was delicious, juicy, well cooked (ordered medium), well seasoned & most importantly not too salty. They offered the option to add additional salt & spices to my own taste & preference but I found it was not required for my own palate. I also got a complementary red wine sauce to pair with the steak but still found that the steak stood well on its own.
Ordered a side of garlic mash potatoes that paired nicely with the steak. Appreciated the complementary bread & butter, coleslaw & a crispy pickle served prior to the appetizer & entree. The waiter was also diligent in refilling my glass with water & checking in on my needs, including a refill of the complementary add ons (I decided to request another pickle). He was also kind enough to strike a general conversation about the city & giving tips on touring the area.
I'll be back here with family the next time I visit Montreal. Thanks for the pleasant visit & dining experience.
We hosted a private corporate event in the beautiful private room. The service & food were excellent ! The event was a huge success. Highly recommend & hopefully many more to come.
Pour moi, l'expérience chez Moishes était carrément 5 étoiles. J'ai commandé un steak, pis je peux dire que c'était un des meilleurs que j'ai mangés de ma vie. La viande était incroyablement tendre pis savoureuse. Le service était aussi très professionnel le personnel était attentionné, mais sans être envahissant. Le menu est un peu cher, mais on sent vraiment la qualité. Je recommande sans hésiter pour une soirée spéciale. C'était une expérience vraiment agréable.

Our THIRD time in six weeks. We sat at the bar. Great experience. food ans service were impeccable. Atmosphere was great! veery easy to exchange amongst guests while have an excellent meal! Wine was also amazing! They are an impressive wine list at very interesting pricing.
Very respectful & friendly staff. Wide variety of wines. Tasted flavorful & cooked to perfection. The mashed potato is a must try believe me. (As a reference, one 8-ounce fillet mignon & one New York steak, one mashed potato, & one big serving of asparagus(perfect for sharing), & two glasses of wine , along with one homemade cheesecake at the end, with the tax & tip ended up to be around $400)
As for the Parking, they offer valet parking for $23
We were 8 guests & all found the food excellent. Service was a little slow & understandable as the restaurant was full, The atmosphere was very good & the acoustics was excellent considering the number of people in the restaurant.
The atmosphere, drinks, wine list & food were only out done by the excellent service. From the bar tenders to the wait staff (we had four people on our team), they were all very polite & attentive.
