We came here for the lunch & the food & bar service was excellent. Our server Ronan was very helpful, attentive & provided a very good wine choice of wine. We had a wonderful time & would definitely return.
A truly memorable experience! The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable & fun. Food was incredible. Excellent presentation & quality. Service was friendly, attentive & made great recommendations. Overall wonderful evening! Would return 100%!

I went to celebrate my birthday, & I had an incredible experience. The staff were attentive & kind, taking time to answer my questions. It was an absolutely lovely experience, & the food was delicious.
MOISHES!!! This restaurant is the sole reason why I would come back to Montreal. The attentive service, the DETAIL & the thought that is put in to every cocktail, every dish & every step of service. At Moishes, it was all about uncommon care from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a glass of champagne at the bar; & started off with Oysters Rockefeller. It was absolutely delicious. I was then greeted by David; & we were chatting about my time in Montreal & insisted that he would take care of the wine when I ordered my dinner. Hospitality is the name of the game; & he was wonderful! The bartenders were absolutely TOP TIER. Kind, & had a genuine interest in the guest's experience.
The caviar topped deviled egg, the shrimp cocktail, were great; but, the real star of the show….A Cherry Smoked Short Rib. This was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The ambience food service ; everything from start to finish was SUPERB. Well done! I cannot wait to be back.

We had a great time. The food was expertly prepared & tasty as hell! Standout was the smoked short ribs (get them with the mashed potatoes) & the spinach side. Excellent, attentive service. Highly recommended!
Rumen is absolutely fantastic! Every time I visit the restaurant, he's there with a smile, always attentive & ready to help. His service is the fastest I've ever experienced - you barely have to ask for something before it's already taken care of. Beyond being efficient, he's genuinely kind & makes everyone feel welcome. Rumen truly makes the dining experience special. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!
Gorgeous food, warm & attentive service, classy modern yet old school atmosphere.
We went for a double celebration. I have a leg cast & let them know in advance & they put aside my kneeler it didn't bother me or other guests.
We have been many times since they reopened. Service is always top notch. No exaggeration.
The manager keeps his watchful eye on the entire'orchestra' of staff.
The menu keeps evolving but alway high end steak restaurant. Our staples are rib steak, port house to share & braised ribs with polenta. Outstanding !
This time we also ordered an arugula salad. Delicious ! One person ordered the fully loaded minute Carlo potato, & some crispy onions. Usually we don't bother with starters or sides as the steak & rib portions are very generous.
Cocktails are top shelf.
The millefeuille is out of this world ! You have to try it even if you are sharing.

Moishes was so good we went back two days in a row! One of the best steakhouses my husband & I have been to, & we love our steaks.
Drinks were tasty, well balanced, & reasonably priced - we had the Le Rocket, whisky sour, & passionfruit mojito. The steaks had great sears & were cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had - super crispy with a hint of sweetness from maple syrup. I ordered the garlic mash the first night concerned that my husband would miss his usual order of French fries, but he said it was actually his favourite side we tried between both dinners. I'd recommend trying all 3 sauces, & they have a secret spice blend that was lovely with the steak (we did miss that the first night). They also serve a coleslaw & pickles as a free appetizer, & they were maybe the best coleslaw & pickles I've ever had.
Shout out to our fantastic waiters Tristan & Alan! They were attentive (e.g. we were wondering what a bordelaise sauce was & Tristan overheard & answered before we were able to check Google, & when my husband ordered a mojito Alan recommended to elevate it with a passionfruit twist & now we might always need to order passionfruit mojitos), pleasant to converse with, & overall great at their jobs.
I would definitely recommend booking a reservation if you're set on Moishes, as we heard multiple groups get turned away because they were fully booked.
Outstanding! We had a reservation for the bar & our server, Danny, was excellent - friendly & attentive. We started with escargot which may have been the best we've had. For dinner, we had the ribeye with creamed spinach & crispy onions - perfection. The sommelier, Rafael, recommended a Bordeaux that paired perfectly. Highly recommend!
If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would-they truly deserve it. This is hands-down the best restaurant I've been to in a long time, & that's just based on the service alone. The staff is incredibly attentive, noticing & responding to every little detail without being intrusive. You feel genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. It's clear they take pride in what they do, & it shows in every interaction. Dining here is not just a meal-it's an experience.
Moishes never disappoints! My family loves eating here. Always fresh ingredients & delicious food & drinks. The Icelandic cod was fabulous & the mixed meat platter was enjoyed by all. Our server Olivier was attentive, pleasant & helpful with our selections. From the valet attendants to the busboy, service is always outstanding & the overall experience makes us keep coming back.

The food was over & above. There were a couple of times my water glass was empty. We did order bubbly & wine, but still needed water. We asked another waiter for mint with the lamb chops & waited, but when asked the maitre'd he said we don't serve mint. Advising us before my friend waited to eat, would of been nice!This is the second time since they opened that we were here & definitely will be back soon. The rib steak was the best I ever had. Not to fault our own waiter, who was super friendly & attentive.
The best meal of all our time in Montréal. Special Prix Fix with Les Bonnes Tables d'Air France as part of Montréal en Lumiére.4 course with wine pairing Roasted carrot & beet salad paired with a Quebecois cabernet, folliw by seafod chowder (smoked sole, mussels, & a grilled scallop( pairex with a citrusy white wine, balanced each other so well. The 4 oz filet mignon & half grilled lobster tail paired with a Spanish. This was a Moishes signature. I have never had a filet as moidt & buttery as this. I dont know how they do it. Finally, Moishes' signature dessert Mille Feuille paired with a sweet but pleasant Sautern. The meal was just perfect.
The service was attentive but not intrusive, with lots of attention from 5 or 6 dufferent staff.
If you have a coctail with a single ice cube, like my Old Fashioned, you might notice the clearest ice cube you will ever see, marked with the logo M for Moishes. A cool touch.

I recently dined at Moishes, & the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was both elegant & inviting. The food was great. The rib-eye steak was the best part, cooked perfectly & served with equally delicious sides. The service was the highlight of the experience. Jordan was an amazing host, welcoming us warmly & making sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. Danny provided exceptional service, displaying both professionalism & attentiveness. Their dedication made the evening, not just a meal, but an experience to cherish. Moishes is definitely a place to go back to.
