Now situated downtown, I heard fantastic things about Moishes but never had the opportunity to pass by. I went for lunch today & was blown away by the professionalism & efficiency of the staff, as well as the excellent food.

I heard they have some of the best cuts in Montreal & I can confirm: I've eaten wagyu in multiple cities across the world, including Kobe beef from Japan, & I can confirm that Moishes not only has excellent beef, but they're also cooked to perfection.

A must go to restaurant in Montreal & I'll be sure to return to try the other cuts of beef.

Literally me & my partner's favourite restaurant! The entire staff just takes care of you even if they weren't your original waiter. The food is to die for, & the aesthetic & vibes are just immaculate. Can't wait to go back!! Special shoutout to Rumen for making our experience extra special.

All the servers were lovely. Service impeccable. The Caesar salad was excellent. First time I've ever had beef tartare that was too spicy for me. Husband's hamburger wasn't great & he was not asked how he would like it cooked so as a result, it was a bit too well done for him. My chicken was really dry. All in all a big disappointment.

Great service & even better food! My go to steakhouse anytime I'm in the city. I've never had a bad experience here, regardless of the busyness of the restaurant. The staff is exceptional & works to ensure each meal is a special one. They've made a repeat client out of me 😊⭐?

Grabbed a table at Moishes on a Saturday around 8pm & the dry aged rib steak was seared perfectly, char on the outside & still pink in the middle. The dark wood interior & old school waiter uniforms give it this classic steakhouse feel that photographs so well in low light, even handheld with a fast lens. Our server clearly knew the menu inside out & walked us through the cuts without being pushy about upselling anything. Parking was easy enough in the lot nearby, & honestly the whole evening felt like stepping into a Montreal institution that's earned its reputation.

This is an outstanding steakhouse. In particular. The lunch is an incredible value. You get an appetizer or salad, a choice of New York Strip with great fries or other entrees & a decadent dessert for $55 Canadian. Plus great bread & their signature pickle & slaw. Way more than I could eat. All delicious. Great atmosphere & friendly people.
