The restaurant is beautiful, with a great atmosphere, & the service was good throughout the evening. We started with the cauliflower steak appetizer, which was good & well prepared.
For the main course, we had the rib steak. It was cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered, though it wasn't by far the best I've ever had. The side of asparagus was lacking flavor & could have used better seasoning.
Overall, a nice dining experience with good service, but there's some room for improvement.
We had a wonderful time. Had not been to the new location & the dining room was beautiful. Steaks were done to perfection. Looking forward to our next visit.
Love love recommand very nice place beautiful nice service & the food was delicious if you ever go take the fillet minion with ethe shiichuri Sauce & the mashed potatoes.

We had a wonderful lunch at Moishe's after many years living away. The new location is beautiful. Everything was delicious & the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back again soon!
Spent our last night in Montreal here, took the kids & all. Service was excellent, cocktails & dinner were a hit as well. Beautiful setting & a nice vibe. Highly recommend!
the Moishe's experience goes so far beyond just the food. Everything just perfect. The warm welcome, the beautiful setting, the friendly, efficent servers. Add to that the perfect...& I mean PERFECTLY grilled boneless rib eye, with the various delicious sides. Thank you Moishe's!!!!

Excellent service, the space is beautiful, however quite expensive & some of the entree portions are very small, i wouldnt say the steaks are far off from the Keg's & it is around 30% more expensive at Moishes.
Moishes is a top-tier steakhouse that truly delivers on quality & experience. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the impeccable service, everything feels refined yet welcoming. The menu offers a great selection, with perfectly cooked steaks that are rich, flavorful, & expertly charred. The sides, like creamy mashed potatoes & sautéed mushrooms, complement the dishes beautifully. The starters, including fresh coleslaw & warm bread, set the tone for an excellent meal. Pair it with a great wine, & you're in for a memorable dining experience. A must-visit for any steak lover in Montreal!

First time at the new location. Restaurant itself is beautiful & elegantly stocked. Despite a reservation, we were seated around the back of the bar, so not in the main restaurant. I didn't have a problem with that at first, but it became apparent that the level of service back there, simply not the same. On multiple occasions, we had to get up to get the attention of the server, including to pay the bill, which I flagged down a walking server to do. & so far is the food our steaks were overdone, so I took my guest steak & ate it while he waited for a new medium rare to be brought to him, well after I was done. So all in all not a great experience.
Absolutely DELICIOUS Food, beautiful décor, GREAT ambiance, extraordinary personnalized service, everything about our experience at Moishes was perfect! No surprise this Montreal establishment is still an extraordinary experience today, even after all these years: they curated the art of entertaining & hospitality.
I haven't been to Moishes since they were at their old location, & they are still outstanding in all categories. Their level of service is legendary, as how the host welcomes you into the restaurant & how your servers are ready to help in every way possible with the menu-refilling your water at every chance. Every dish of food is delicious. We started with the Rockefeller oysters & beef tartare. We both had the filet mignon for our mains & asparagus & Monte Carlo potatoes as sides. We had two nonalcohols, which were surprisingly like sour candy. My partner didn't want to pick up a dessert that night, but I will have to take them back to try many of the superb options Moishes offer. We were celebrating our 11th anniversary, & Moishes made it a special one. We are looking forward to making many more beautiful memories there in the coming future.
Beautiful place , when we arrive the host in the entrance so polite very mindful ,but the server was not very nice a little bit rude ,but one of the best steak & french fries !!! Overall I recommended
This is a very interesting restaurant. My wife & I went here twice when visiting Montreal. The steaks are great & the side dishes are also super tasty. Unfortunately, the second time we went here, the beef tartare tasted completely different: it was suddenly super spicy. This was two day after visiting for the first time, so this points towards a lack of consistency & quality control in the kitchen. Also, on our second visit, I ordered the Kansas Strip. I talked with the waiter about it before ordering & when it appeared, I was dismayed to see that it had a big bone in it. However, when it comes to drinks, the people working here are top notch! I had a great conversation with Max about a White Russian - a fairly boring drink, unless you take steps to elevate it. Max created a beautiful White Russian for me & this made a perfect end to my visit in Montreal.
